My husband and I love it. It sings on the hour, and won't as long as there is insufficient light to activate the bird. It's beautiful, looks like it's hand-crafted, painted wood, and has a pinecone pendulum. We get busy on our computers and lose all track of time. The birdsong is just what we need so that we don't miss appointments or classes. It just notified us for a zoom class we might have been late for. It doesn't have a volume control but that wasn't important. We're very glad we bought it.

Please read all the info before purchase. This clock is so cheap and junky. It weighs nothing. Made of cheap thin plastic and cheap stickers. The pendulum is poorly made. It came with a single sheet of paper that has very little info on set up. Picture is deceiving. Just received so not sure on how well it’s going to work yet. Very low expectations after seeing it though.

This clock makes me smile every time it chimes. It is plastic so don’t expect a quality wooden clock but it is very cute for the price. It only chimes on the hour, which is enough for me. The chime is the sound of a cardinal bird, not a cuckoo clock sound. It has a light sensor which stops the chiming once the room becomes dark, so it doesn’t wake you up at night. I have had it for a few months now and it keeps perfect time.

We bought this for our kids. They’ve named the cardinal Big Red, and they love it! It works great as long as you’re really careful not to bend the hands at all. We also love that it has a button where you can make the cardinal come out whenever you want. I was just a tad disappointed because I thought it was made of wood, but it’s just plastic with faux wood decals. So it’s not as sturdy as it looks.

father n law loved it...i mean its cheap and plastic so dont expect anything to fancy but its doable and does the job ..with a tweet tweet...lol

Quality is not so good. Gave for Xmas gift for my niece and am embarrassed to find out peeling and coming apart already and they had to glue it! I certainly won't have bought for $50 plus tax if I knew subpar quality ahead of time. Price should be $25 at most. Buyer beware😣

This was a Christmas gift for my mother. Since my father died, she has taken a liking to cardinals, believing when she sees one, it’s a visitor from heaven. The fact that this clock has a cardinal that makes cardinal sounds, is awesome! She loved it!! It was very beautiful!!

Exactly as advertised. The clock is really nice. My daughter loves it.
