Weird, but not in a good way
Bought this after reading Bodies - but whereas that was smart and exciting and innovative, this was incomprehensible and weird. Very rarely for me I gave up after 50 pages

Compulsive
Very strange but a compulsive visual story with dark, haunting images.

I love this book
I love this book. It's a wonderful, trippy journey through a dream or nightmare. It disturbed me beautifully. Si Spencer's mind is uniquely gifted and uniquely odd, and Dix's visuals are sublime.

Dreamy..?
This book, through its both beautiful use of language and gorgeous visual storytelling, gave me nightmares that I may never recover from.. and I guess that that might be the point! Thanks Spencer and Dix, I'll being sending my psychiatrist bills your way!

Uniquely brilliant
This book stayed with me for ages after reading. It immerses you in a dreamscape that feels sickeningly complete, like it's there waiting for you when you next go to sleep. It's often really funny, often really disturbing. I think it's a really original piece of work. A beautifully produced book too.

Thought this was excellent. Not an easy read but incredibly evocative and well worth the effort as it's definitely a graphic novel that I'd pick up again for a second read - not something I do usually. There's a lot bouncing around in my head since I've read it. It's dark, very dark, but there's some lovely little chinks of light in there that really carried a lot of meaning for me.
