I hit the jackpot when i bought this
After doing my research, I purchased this for my father for Father's day. He has dementia and I thought it would be nice for him and good for my mother as well since my dad always asks her what day it is. I was visiting my dad one day and he pointed to it and asked if I had got that for him and I said yes. He repeatedly said how much he really likes it. He says he can now tell what day it is, the date and the time and doesn't have to ask my mom. It sits across the room from him next to the t.v. and he can see it with no problems. My mom called and told me that my dad tells her how much he really likes that all the time. She said I hit the jackpot when I got that for my dad!!!!I would definitely recommend that this is the perfect gift to give to anyone with dementia or Alzheimer's. It does not take up a lot of room, is nice looking, and the letters and numbers are big enough to see from across the room! It would also be a nice thing to just have for your home or office. The packaging was nice and no where did it mention dementia or Alzheimer's! The only thing I would like better is if had battery back up or the option to have it as battery operated. What are you waiting for? Go ahead and order yours today! You won't regret it!

This is awesome
First I,m not good with words. But this clock is a blessing every time I look at it. Black back ground with white letter lets me see and read easy at a glance. Month, date, time. It is ten feet from me and I see it so good. At 68 eyes not what they once were. Mind well when I find it I can let you no what it thinks to. This clock is so good I plan on getting 2 more, bed room and kitchen. It is a little pricey but for me worth every cent. Only one complaint. I can not understand how to change the time and date, but I,m sure that is me and my missing mind. Thank heaven when mine came it was only 1 hour a head of time , so I just remember to take one hour off. I hope this will help all.

Fantastic size for my mother who struggles with dementia
Fantastic size for my mother who struggles with dementia. She continually asked what day it was. This gives us peace (from continually repeating day) since she knows to look at clock then she looks at calendar for scheduled events.I only give it 3 stars because it is expensive, it DOES NOT HAVE AUTO DAY/NIGHT DIMMER.It is truly a photo display frame that has a clock function. Little difficult to follow instructions to set up.

Poor spelling
My only issue with this device is thatthe month of October is spelled "Otcober" on the display, with no way to correct it.

Great Product
Great for my Dad with dementia. The only thing is that I thought the price was a little high but it is a grat visual aid. I donated it to the assisted living facility when my Dad moved in last August.Darryl

Mom Loves it! However, whomever programed this spelled Otcober wrong, literately. Hopefully all the other months are spelled correctly! Only time will tell.

Otcober???
Loved the clock until the date changed to October. Someone needs to learn how to spell.Otherwise the clock is great.

How hard can it be to spell things right?
Ordered this for my mother and the first thing I notice is the month is spelled wrong. REALLY!?! Less that 20 words to spell out, and they can't get it correct?
