Like some others on here, I originally bought the original "hard points" ver. with all the weapons and accessories. That was a very good figure on it's own, but I have to say, this is a Phenomenal figure in terms of cartoon accuracy, and articulation! First off, the faithfulness to the design of the cartoon is spot on! It looks as if this figure literally jumped right out of the television! The articulation is greatly improved over it's predecessor. New joints in the figure allow it to pull off many poses that you couldn't do with the original figure, or ones it couldn't do well before. Best of all, it doesn't mess with the figure's accuracy to the cartoon!Now it doesn't come as many accessories as the HP version does, but really the beam rifle, hyper bazooka, and beam saber is all you need for a gundam.The ANIME version of the original gundam is an absolute must have for any gundam fan and collector! The sculpt is fantastic and faithful to the original show, and the articulation is amazing! I'd say get it while you can before supply runs out, or the price increases!

Despite Amazon and USPS doing their best to destroy my package by putting it into a bubble mailer and then literally folding the box in half to shove into my mailbox, this is an awesome figure and I am happy to have to have it to go along with my Tamashii Nations Web Exclusive version. I also have the next one on pre order so will be glad to have a few variants of this. This is my favorite model as it can really be put in a number of poses and includes quite a few accessories. Definitely a must for your collection imo.

I love the A.N.I.M.E. line! The overall quality is great, paint and details are superb! The reason I knocked off a star is the knees on my copy are totally loose. It makes posing very difficult. I know this is a fluke because my many other Robot Spirits A.n.i.m.e bots are exceptional!

I initially passed on this newer release due to owning the previous Robot Spirits version that came with every single accessory you could ever want from the Granddaddy. But when I saw the anime styling and increased articulation and the other 0079 styled suits that were coming out to complement this figure, I finally grabbed it and was not disappointed! This is an anime accurate Gundam with amazing articulation and joint placement with enough accessories to recreate many iconic poses. This is a great intro to Robot Spirits for anybody who wants to start collecting!

This toy has made me feel like I'm 8 years old watching Gundam on Cartoon Network. The model looks exactly like the anime version. I also purchased the MS-06s Char's Zaku for battle scenes. I have never had an action figure that could pose so many ways.

Great value for the money, sturdy, enjoyable, on my office desk at work.

Like all of the A.N.I.M.E. Tamashii figures, this one is super articulate, has a wonderful retro gubdam feel, and comes with effect parts which give a lot of life to displaying them.My only complaint is that the package was damaged upon receiving the figure, and the barrel of the Beam rifle was broken when finaly getting it out of the package.I would still reccomend this figure to any Gundam fan, as well as any of the atamashii figures.

初代ガンダム買った。すごい。すごい動くこれ。そんでポーズ維持すごい。すごいカッコイイ。1つの関節につき2か所可動できて、首、肩、肘、足付け根、膝が予想よりも動く。だいたいのポーズを無理なく実現できる。実現した後もすごい。関節の固さが丁度良い。若干固いが固すぎない。だいたいのポーズを無理なく維持できる。頑丈にできていて、動かしても壊れない安心感がある。すごい。他のもほしい。関節もすごいけど、プロポーションも良い。太すぎず細すぎず、足も長すぎない。

かつてのM.I.A.からE.M.I.Aへの変化を見ている様でした。実のところ物凄い感動という程ではありません。劇中のポーズはほぼ再現可能ですが劇中以外のポーズを取らせるには自由度が高過ぎてどうすればキチッとが決まるのか分からなくなったり。自分の想像力が足りないだけとも言います(笑)。でも「RX-78-2ガンダム」は結局アムロの一機だけしか無くそして自分はアムロ(の動き)を再現するのが最優先ではないんですよね。単にガシガシ動かして遊びたいんです。もしくは名も無き一兵士のつもりで動かしたいんです。そういう意味では量産型MSが出てから評価するべき…と言うか自分はここに書くべきではないんでしょうが、記念すべきA.N.I.M.E第一弾です。今後の期待も込めて★5です。
