Pretty cool
As the other reviews state, the volume is a bit weird but I knew that upon purchasing. My 1 year old loved it & it kept her away from my phone for awhile. She dances & tries to sing along. The language barrier is weird so you can't really tell what colors they are saying when you switch it to learning. Eventually she caught on and plays with it only when shes bored I guess; not a toy to help learn but definitely entertains them & makes them think they also have a phone.

Looks real, very cute
My daughter (8 months old) loves to steal my iPhone. That’s when I found this great product. The audio on it can sometimes be a little weird and not match up with the buttons but my daughter doesn’t mind. She loves to teeth on it too!

Kids love it, but it makes noise
The kids love it but the sounds it makes can be annoying. The words are also very heavily accented so some of the words are hard to understand.

Not bad for the price but kind of awkward.
The baby loves this toy, but some of the buttons kind of sound inappropriate. I don't know how to describe it, but it's weird. It could have been that it's made in China, but you would have to purchase it yourself to see what I'm talking about.

Bright light in a small flashlight
This flashlight is great! Love that it doesn’t take batteries, you charge it up. It’s very bright too. Very small and compact.

Perfect for baby!!
My daughter just made 8 months and she loves it!!! It doesn’t do much outside of noises, songs, and light up but for a teething baby that sees everyone with a cell phone, it’s perfect!

Son’s favorite!
This is one of my son’s favorite toys. It looks like an iPhone and charges similar to an iPhone.

~This flashlight is for illuminating your way back to the flashlight you dropped.~
~This flashlight is for illuminating your way back to the flashlight you dropped.~I say this half-jokingly and was split in regards to how I would rate this flashlight (and other similar clones). Aside from micro USB cables and bottles of vape-juice, I've never purchased more of one item than these flashlights and their similar "cree LED" clones.I have a love/hate relationship and need to state that whether or not to buy some is completely situational/based entirely off your use case.First three-ish months into EDC? 4/5Everyday Carry (Approaching month five)?: 2.25/5Everyday Carry (Approaching month seven)? 1/5General purpose/ Car flashlight / Well thought-out stocking stuffer / Backup flashlight / Having spares in the event you need to equip 9 fellow-lifeguards in the event of a facility blackout/ Always having a flashlight within reach at home? : 11/5 (easily)They're dirt cheap, relatively small, the focusable beam is extremely nice to have (one of the primary reasons I've carried this model or a similar variant everyday for the past 6 years), and they run on a single AA battery (the best part)I feel like the best analogy is a cheap, stamped AK 47: nice-ish at first, but eventually (and inevitably) they will [poop] the bed.Initially the light will begin to flicker, then it will cut out, then you'll have to whack it against something to get it working again, it'll cut out again, then it will repeat the cycle with increasing frequency until you get less than a second of light per-whack.Then you either swap it out for a new clone from the stockpile, or you decide you've finally had enough and decide to buy a nicer, more reliable AA light (splitting up the stockpile into various locations)Another drawback [specific to the single-mode version] is that it guzzles batteries like you wouldn't believe. (i.e. 3 batteries to the hour (BPH))in all seriousness though, the single-mode version (high-mode only) will give you approx 4.5 hours runtime per battery (before dying completely). Brightness will drop gradually the entire time.In the event SHTF, one perk to this type of light (aside from being able to restock by yipe-ing batteries from a TV remote or literally any other household device) is that every component in every clone is interchangeable. With such a [probably] widely available flashlight, you can swap out the lens, swap out the main body, swap the tailcap, swap gaskets, or swap the pocket clip if it breaks (hell, even the pocket clip screws work univerally, lol)To summarize, I wouldn't trust my life with it (and neither should you), but I believe it would be an EXTREMELY valuable addition to any SHTF bag (as a backup light), car glovebox, or basically placing one in every room of the house.Considering that I use my flashlight (on average) 20x per day, the poor-ish reliability of the light may be very specific to me

Small and bright flashlight that can run on AA cells
I don't have a 14500 lithium-ion battery, so I've just been using this light with an AA NiMH cell. Even so, it's been very bright (and likely doesn't warm up nearly as much as it does with a Li-ion cell), and has been a great light to have in a pinch. The light is controlled by a tailswitch, which turns on/off with a single click. The light does not have mode-memory and always starts on the highest setting, cycling downward with a half-press until it loops back to the top. A double half-press will cause it to enter strobe mode. I'm not the biggest fan of starting at the highest setting, but I can see how it might be useful (if you're not concerned with wiping out your night vision). An AA cell won't last long on the highest mode, but that's to be expected given how little energy a cell of that size can store. Something more annoying that I did notice is that on the highest mode, the light flicker intermittently - which isn't the most pleasant visual experience. The light has the typical glossy black anodizing over its aluminum body, and has a strong pocket clip. I do wish the pocket clip was closer to the end so the light could sit deeper in the pocket (at the moment, about 1/3 of the light sticks out), but that's just a personal preference. The lens isn't coated with anything, and is just clear glass.Unfortunately, I did have a minor issue in the construction of my light - the o-ring that was meant to sit between the bezel and the lens of the light was instead partially squished behind the lens, preventing a tight seal and waterproofing at the front of the light. I was able to remedy this by unscrewing the innards of the head so I could properly seat all the components, so this was an easily-resolved defect. This light can seem a bit pricey for what you get, when you compare it against the features/runtime of bigger lights that run on 18650 (or larger) lithium-ion cells. But considering its very pocketable size, this is a solid choice if you want a lot of light in a small package.

as with other AA batteries like alkaline most will
The thorfire flashlight TG06S is a tube style flashlight with a Cree XP-G2 led emitter with a polished reflector. The body is standard aircraft-grade aluminium. The thorfire TG06S can be powered by either lithium-ion 14500s or common AAs NiMH, alkaline. The highest output will be achieved using lithium-ion 14500 batteries.I use rechargeable AA NiMH batteries, as with other AA batteries like alkaline most will, if not all brands, leak and damage the flashlight if you forget to remove the batteries when flat and left for too long.Click the power switch, and high is activated. To advance to medium, low and moonlight give the switch a soft half press. For strobe it needs a double half-press from any mode, then another half-press returns it to the last mode it was in. There is no mode memory. It defaults to high so that is where it will be when you switch the flashlight on.The high capacity 2550mAh eneloop Pro battery fits the Thorfire TG06S flashlight just like the 1900mha eneloop, and other AA's.I do not have any 14500 lithium-ion batteries to test in this flashlight at time of this review. The spec sheet from thorfire says that this light will put out 500 lumens. With AA's only 150 lumens, so if you want a brighter light output the 14500 lithium-ion is the way to go. But remember the brighter the light means less run time.I have many 18650 battery flashlights, but I find this little thorfire TG06S flashlight a gem of a light for my pocket or as a cap light for fishing or other outdoor activities.I do find that the light is a little warm in the tint, but I am a cool white person. It is a personal choice for what colour tint you may like. Some like Neutral white and others like me like cool white.I will return to the review after I receive some 14500 lithium-ion batteries. As with more power and output, the warm tint may grow on me.Cheersmrwolf

Excellent small tactical style AA flashlight
Excellent small tactical style AA flashlight. Simple to operate.. from off, one full press of the tail switch and the light blazes to life in high mode (a good feature if used for defence). Once turned on, single partial presses will cycle you down through the brightness modes. A quick partial double-press while the light is on will put it in strobe. A full press while the light is on will switch it off. The build quality is excellent, it's not too big for every day carry, and it can tailstand on a flat surface (something I do often with it). I felt the pocket clip would have suited me better if it was also anodized, and carried lower in the pocket. The switch is a bit mushy, and it also tends to get hot quickly on high brightness if using a 14500 battery instead of AA. It has a decent beam pattern and a somewhat neutral colour temperature. Overall a small, functional, bright, and well built light for the price.

Great light, my second like it
I carried the TG06 around for a year and a half and it was great. It's gone missing so I picked up this one, the upgrade. If it is even exactly as powerful and handy as my old one, I will be happy, and so far, that much to be the case.As for the new features, don't go out of your way. Strobe? Maybe that will be fun in the woods at night, for 5 or 6 minutes. The clip seems just as likely to get lost in the next few weeks. The older version came with a few more spare parts (grommets, buttons in different colours, something else). This one still has a pair of grommets. And then, there exists a light half it's size that has nearly as bright a beam (the Ti3 does 120L on a AAA, it's bright). So I have a new everyday light but the TG06S will be wherever I need something more - getting back from the water when fishing, in the car, and in my pack for travel. I will likely put the stronger, brighter 14500 in it too. I may even use the strobe. In the woods at night. For 5 or 6 minutes.

One of my favourite flashlights
This review starts off as a bad news story, but it's actually a good news story. When I received my flashlight I was delighted by its size and brightness, not to mention the affordable price. Then, after about a week, it started malfunctioning -- the light wasn't responding properly to the button. It felt like something was loose inside.I contacted ThorFire about this, and they responded immediately by offering me a replacement. They sent it to me quickly, and the replacement light has been working perfectly for the past few months. That was awesome customer service. I'm so happy with this flashlight that I bought a couple more. The flashlight is small and light, making it super portable and easy to carry around. At 500 lumens (when you use a 14500 battery) it's extremely bright, with a nice beam width that does a great job of illuminating dark areas. You can also use it with a regular AA battery, which drops the brightness down to 150 lumens but that works nicely as a backup.Overall I love this flashlight because of its combination of size (portability), brightness, durability, and price.
