Is it possible to get these with both ends tapped with an M6 thread?

I haven't seen any that were drilled and threaded that weren't a custom length OEM part. I had no issues drilling and tapping them using just a cordless drill, the outside layer is hardened so if you grind that off first it's much easier.

Can I thread the ends of the rod or they are too hardened to allow it ?

You can thread them all day long with a lathe if you like, but first you have to remove the chrome (chemically or with abrasives) and anneal the section of the rod that you need to thread. Otherwise, you'll need to grind the threads with silicon carbide or diamond.
