Revolutionary Stretch-to-fit hot/Cold Pack- Island Palm Medium

This ice wrap has become my favorite to use while recovering from knee replacement surgery. Unlike other items, this wrap goes all the way around the leg, gets properly cold and covers well. I did make one minor adjustment. Because my leg is still swollen, I made a small cut in the seam at the top and cut the elastic. Doing so made it a lot more comfortable. I was able to leave the lower elastic in place, so I can still walk some without it slipping. I use my HurtSkurt more than any other ice wrap—and I have several. Highly recommend!

Sorry to say, was not impressed with this ice sleeve. I was very hopeful when i saw this. I bought the small size (maybe that is the problem) and wow, was it ever small. Can barely get it over my hand, and i am not a big person at all. And if this is suppose to help, when you are sore, being too small, doesnt help at all. And it is not stretchy at all. Not sure where the stretchy part is, unless that is the elastic around it, which doesnt help at all, once it is cold.I guess i should of returned it, but just kept it just for a regular ice pack (expensive one at that)Maybe if i would of gotten the bigger size, this review would be totally different.Unless this is for a child or very small (small boned) person, then i would not purchase the small size.'EDIT; 9/8/20 BIG UPDATE!~So..i received an email from the company telling me that they would be happy to fix my situation. (plus, minehad started leaking also and i had tossed it) They said they had also fixed this problem and i told them i actually needed a bigger size sent to me or no thank you. So, they sent me a bigger size! (very cool!) And WOW...this is a game changer! What a difference the size makes! (i guess size does matter!) Anyways, it fits my knee and also my arm/elbow, perfectly. They freeze up/heat up and you can get your arm/leg in/ no problem (with correct size!) and it stays put! SOOOO nice! I asked if they make these for your back/hips/waist..like a back brace type and they are looking into that. Cause that would be wonderful as well.So, this item is really helpful for my issues and i appreciate them contacting me and being the BEST customer service you can ask for! Thank you so much!!

After 3 uses it ruptured all over my leg and sheets. Fantastic idea. But for the price, it should last more than 3 uses.

This ice pack retains the cold better than any I've ever owned. If you're using it right after surgery or have thick legs it might be too tight. I just laid it over my leg. I do recommend something between the hurtskirt and your skin. I used thin neck gaiters or a tea towel.

I had a knee replacement done in August of this year. I bought this so I could have an ice pack on while walking or doing PT. I love the fact that it also has compression. It’s great. I’m glad I bought it. My second knee is getting done in a month, so it will get a lot of use. I just wish it came in circumference sizes. I couldn’t use it right after my surgery due to swelling, but once the swelling subsided, it was fine.

I bought this for my calf that has ongoing swelling because of a spinal cord injury.It is EXTREMEMLY cold, which is what I was looking for.However, the bands that hold the pack in place re UNBELIEVABLY tight. So tight that the indentations it leave stay pronounced for several hours. The last straw was how my Achille's tendon felt yesterday afternoon when I took it off. I could barely walk and the pain was unimaginable.The only way this might work is if I cut the bands, but then it wouldn't stay up.This ice pack does everything it should, but the one thing it does that it shouldn't is a deal breaker. I'll be returning it for a refund.

Bought one a few months ago and both my husband and I have used it several times a month to bring down swelling in knees that have old injuries. It works as intended, providing cold and light compression around the leg/knee area. One unintentional use is also to chill wine a bit more quickly if you’ve forgotten to put a white in the fridge for dinner. It’s exactly what I would expect for the price point - it’s not going to be on the order of a freeze sleeve but it has held up well to moderate use. Overall solid product and will buy a few more for soccer season.
