Very Tricky Product
This product is very tricky to use. I was painting with a brush and it took many coats to get an acceptable finish. The advice on the tin is not to over spread the paint but this is almost impossible in order to avoid it running. The paint often wiped off the woodwork whilst painting. It is however a very true gold unlike a lot paints that claim to be gold but are really yellow. The light also makes a big difference to the appearance of the finish so where you stand in the room can make a big difference to whether or not you can see the base colour coming through. The paint is quite thick and is prone to running if you apply too much. I have persevered and achieved a finish I am happy with - it's not perfect but goes ok with the look of the room. This paint maybe better used to spray UPVC as it is an MSP, I believe however it is really less suited to woodwork.

Amazing paint!
All I can say is WOW! Works better than expected, almost looks like nothing has been done to the windows. Even my father's friends who have their own double glazing businesses were skeptical! They will be gobsmacked when they see it!P.s. The price has gone up by £7+!!! Managed to find cheaper at Allfinishes...

NOT 'Dark' grey
The dark grey I purchased was painted on, and it looks light an EXTREMELY light gray. It's ruined the look of the front of my house, and has been extremely expensive as I now need to order more pain, and have a painter decorator out to carry out the work.

Great paint for UPVC doors windows etc
We painted door white to brown colour so I would recommend upto 4 coats , make sure area is keyed ( abrasive feel ) and cleaned with Surgical spirits and wiped dry. We had normal size UPVC door with window and a 750 ml tin was enough to do 5 coats ( note - one side of door only was painted) Highly recommend

Really worked on upvc front door
This really works on upvc, just make sure you give it a light sand and clean it and this goes on like a dream. Transformed my upvc front door, looks like wood because paint goes on with light brush strokes giving it the effect of a painted wood door. Everyone thinks it's epic. Expensive for the size but worth it.

Great result on pvc guttering and wood
Although not cheap, this paint has done a great job to cover a pvc gutter that was brown and had faded. Bought the satin black and this went on well and has dried to a nice soft satin finish on both the guttering and wood lintels. The paint brush has washed out well and dried without going hard. It does look weird in the tin though as it has a kind a ‘film’ on it but this doesn’t cause any problem.
