Pure Wool Beanie, Natural & Organic Slouchy Knit Cap, Warm Thermal Hat for Winter

I liked this because it was made in Canada (vs. China for most merino caps) but the other reviews aren't kidding when they say this fits small. I wear a 7 1/4 -7 3/8 ball cap and the 'XL' is borderline uncomfortably tight on my head. I'm keeping it to see if it will stretch out a bit, but right now, I can only wear it for about 30-45 minutes before I start to get a headache. I wear it uncuffed, would probably be unbearably tight if if I wanted to fold it up.The fabric feels quality, but it is a finer knit, so looks thin, plus it's really tight, so it fits very close to the skull. If they made some larger sizes, I would definitely buy more of these. The exterior tag is kind of cheesy, it has a cartoony sheep on it.

I went off other reviews regarding sizes running really small; so I bought a Large/Adult for my 20 month old and it fit him perfectly. I docked one star for sizing because I think the whole size chart should be re-adjusted. My comment is consistent with everyone else as far as the size issue. The product itself is very soft and I love the color.

I was compelled to write a review immediately after receiving this hat today because there is such a night-and-day difference from the other "merino" hat I ordered recently here on Amazon for under $11--the other one turned out to be only half merino despite the wording of the listing, and it was scratchy and tight-fitting, whereas this one is super-soft with not a jot of scratchiness-feels almost imperceptible but like a little tiny hug. I have a rather large head for a female and hats are often too small so I was worried about this one since the company seems geared toward kids, but the XL fits me very comfortable and well. It is definitely worth the extra $10 or so to get this wonderful hat--the other one turned out to be no bargain. I think it will fit most male heads too since mine is usually similar to that average. Mauve pink color is pretty and the style is simple, with a smooth front and a little baggyness in back (it might look more fashionable on someone with a smaller head in case that is a consideration for you but if you are more interested in warmth and comfort like me, you can rely on the size fitting with a little extra in back). But the star here is the fabric for sure--soft enough for a baby and ever so pleasant to wear; though lightweight, it is surprisingly warm and worked so quickly to warm me up that I took it off again for a bit. It is so nice to have on that I can see I am going to be looking for excuses to wear it...

First off: HAT IS GREAT. NOT ITCHY AND VERY HIGH QUALITY! Word to the wise, if you are an adult woman and you want the hat to fit like a slouch get the XL. If you want it to fit like a beanie get a large. I'm very happy with the quality and communication of the seller. Super fast shipping and I've already purchased my second hat. ❤️

I should have listened to the reviews, too small. ordered large thinking it will fit my husband's little head (he has a particularly small head) but it was too small. makes me think that those pictures of adults with slouched beanie is not real unless they have a head smaller than my husband which is highly unlikely.

I have a head full of small diameter dreadlocks and finding the right hat fit is a challenge. So glad I tried this merchandise, love the fit (chose XL), colors and quality of the wool. I’m a knitter and know merino wool is the best. I’m so pleased that I’m going back for more colors.

I ordered the largest size, it wasn't large enough. There was too much tightness which is something I really detest when I go out of the way to order xtra large.Solution: Make a bigger size like add an 1inch or so to the diameter and it would be perfect.Also the materials are great, I really like them a lot. Just fits too snug for me, but it works & I still use it. I rather it be larger than it was, please update the sizing.

I wish I could give this a better rating, but the item is not as described. Kids size, not adult.Otherwise made well in Canada. The Large is for large kids heads, or small adults.Very lightweight for mild cold. Too thin for freezing weather.
