Cantu Wave Whip Curling Mousse with Shea Butter for Natural Hair, 8.4 oz (Packaging May Vary)

I've never been a fan of Cantu products. Cantu has dried out my hair & my kids hair. I saw this product used by someone on YouTube. She has a curly TWA hairstyle similar to mine. Her video made me curious to try the product. I can say that I love it. A small amount goes a long way. It instantly made my curls pop. My hair felt really soft & moisturized. The product is light weight & non greasy. I do not sleep with a scarf or a sleep cap on. When I awake in the morning my curls are still soft & defined. I just spritz a little water & rub my fingers through my hair & go. So far this product has been great. I'm thankful that I've tried it.

I am afraid you guys are going to buy it all up and leave me with NOTHING to buy. Okay...Here we go. This mousse is fantastic, the minute it touches your hair you feel and see it working. It help you combed through thick curlyness of hair, the softness it bring to your hair is unbelievable. Bring curly to life. This is product is a must in my hair routine. I am just saying, at least leave three bottles for me to buy too. 😢

This mouse is expensive but very worth it! It made my curly hair bounce with curls!

Cantu products are weird in that you're meant to use them together and not by themselves. Maybe it's just my hair type? I have very very thin hair ~2c-3a and I can not use this product on its own. I have to use gel otherwise my hair gets frizzy and half straight half curled mad scientist looking? But if I use just the Cantu hair gel my hair gets curly frizzy? So I have to use both and then my hair finally looks normal. Smells good though.

This really made my curls pop but it only lasted an hour then my curls died. It’s good for styling when I braid my hair or for when I have my hair up but it’s not great to use I place of gel. I tried using with my Cantu moisturizer curl defining cream and it left much to be desired. I have fine delicate curls so my hair so this didn’t weight my hair down but it also didn’t have any hold at all. Smells nice. It’s not bad for second day hair for people who don’t want to use water but gel is too heavy, so I use it for a second day refresher.

I’m a Black woman with naturally curly hair and this is THE best curling whip I have ever used!! It’s so popular that Walmart and Sally’s Beauty Supply can’t keep it on the shelf. This is the only brand I have used..and I tried way too many...ugh!!..that does not cause dryness or makes my hair hard. It leaves my curls soft and beautiful with NO flakes!! I get better results when my hair is wet. The whip dries fast and leaves my curls popping :-)!!!
