Great product
I have used this product for a few years now and I can tell you it is wonderful! I have used it on metal, wood, and leather. It takes about a week to dry on leather but it does not crack or peel once it is dry. Worth every penny!!!!!

It’s pretty watery
It might be watery which may be good for some applications. I ended up not using it on the project I purchased it for. I like Behr water based stain better.

Very Forgiving
I used this product on my oak floor, which needed to be stained, because it was very badly marked up. This was my first ever floor refinishing project, so I had no prior experience to draw from, and no idea what to expect. But, I found this stain to be very easy to work with. I found it's best if you thin it with water. 3 parts stain to one part water worked very well. It just keeps it wet longer, so it doesn't dry so fast while you're working with it. I did one entire coat, and then two partial coats, which were mainly to fill in areas where I didn't get enough stain the first time. I just sat on the floor, and applied it with a sponge brush, and then wiped with a lint free rag. If you have lap marks, or you accidentally apply it too thick somewhere, it's very easy to sand off, so it's a good product for amateurs like me who goof up a lot. There was also no odor, and I was extremely happy with the result.

Goes on streaky
I used it to stain solid maple table top. Already that is a tall order for any stain, but it did get the very dark color I was after. Because of the size of the table and the speed at which it dried, it took two people and we have to lap the stain. This left dark streaks that looked bad. Rather than sand off and re-stain, we went ahead and topcoated and the streaks mostly cleared out. A little deceiving during application but the finished product is good.Might have benefited from thinning the stain at the start, will try that next time.

The color changed dramatically
I loved how it went on, the easy clean up and the none smell, but wow, the color is super dark much darker then the original color. This is supposed to be provincial which is mid/dark color but this color is DARK. I was staining birch plywood (yes I know) and I did use GF pre stain as well. It's not that I don't like it, it's just super darker then expected, so I gave it 3 stars. I finished with GF waterbased poly and sand. This is my first time ever doing this, so im not sure why this happened.

This does not have any sort of Red tint
It is water based, easy clean up. But in photo it appears to have a little mild red tint to it … it has no red woody tiny at all, but i still have liked the results. I would not recommend using this color on oak, forExample the oak pressed back chairs. It really takes up strong in the cracks and creavases of that wood and hardly at all in tbe harder wood . I really had to work witb it wiping away several times and reapplying. ( i am one of those people that dont like a real heavy “ painted”stain, i like to see some natural wood grain show through. ) worked great on maple and cherry wood. Maybe it was my technique on the oak🤷🏻♀️, who knows just my thoughts and experience using it. Good luck happy staining and creating

absolutely beautiful
The media could not be loaded. I used the espresso stain on the mantle and bottom portion of my kitchen fireplace. I primed the mantle and bottom section, then used a paint made for staining, then used the espresso color stain. It truly is a beautiful stain. It went on smoothly and only needed one coat for each section. I added a before and after pic for comparison

Purposely sent the incorrect item and the return shipping is going to cost me $37-00
Needed to stain a wall and door therefore was after the GEL STAIN because it does not drip as easily as ordinary stain. Received a notice stating that the gel was not available and assumed I would get a refund. OH NO!! They just decided to send whatever they had on hand to get the sale hoping that I would not send it back because of the international post!!!!!!!! Well they were right!!!

The description is wrong
This is neither oil-based nor a gel stain. It's a water-based stain. So at least the photo is accurate, but I was hoping for a water-based gel stain.
