I ordered this plum extract to use in making kimchi but I haven't made the kimchi yet, but I have been using it in making a home made drink and it's delicious. I use Liquid Death-Squeezed to Death flavored sparkling water, lemonade and a little plum extract and it is sooo good. Looks like I'm going to have to order another bottle strictly for kimchi making 😄

When I bought this item, it was for about $16, so my review will be based on that price just in case it changes in the future. For the price, the quality is superb. There's a tangy sweet flavor, which gives savory recipes an extra kick of flavor. I mostly use this for Bulgogi or when I want to use this instead of honey or regular sugar. For baking, I cannot speak for since I don't bake nor know how this will work or if it affects anything. Overall, I recommend for savory cooking if you like tangy sweet taste

Excellent. I use this stuff for kalbi (and few other) marinades and have found it to be a great value.

Bulgogi is one of my grandsons' favorite dishes. I try to make it whenever they pay a special visit. Because plum extract is hard to find, I've been substituting it with apricot jam (recommended in a recipe I used). If this recipe is great with the apricot jam substitute, how much better would it be with the real thing? So, I ordered online since none of the grocery stores near me have it. What a difference this made in my already wonderful bulgogi recipe. I'll never use apricot jam again. Nothing like the real thing!

This one simple ingredient adds so much flavor to your Korean dishes. A little bit goes along way and you can definitely taste it. I recommend looking up Future Neighbor on YouTube and watch his Spicy Pork video.
