Works Great
I’m not a super handy guy, but this is as easy as it comes. I used it to mount a camera at the end of my driveway. I had the board set up and simply pushed this in the ground (it was a bit soft from rain). Put the 2x4 in, screwed it secure, and was all good. Seems to be thick, quality steel that’ll hold up for many years. I’ll likely buy another one if I need another target stand. Ah, who am I kidding, I’ll need another target stand.

very sturdy and sticks in ground well - also great for real estate agents in cold weather
for how short it is, I wouldn't think that it would stick in the ground as well as it did, and it is obviously made with care in the USA I believe. If you need a target holder, I don't think there is an easier, more sturdy one out there than this. So sturdy yet also super easy to take out of the ground when you want to. Real estate agents in cold weather- use this when the ground is frozen for sign posts

Great
Does the job great! I’m sure it’s all different depending on the ground they’re stabbed in. .22 will stay up forever. 9mm and 223 I’ve had them stay up for 75 plus shots easily. Heavier rounds will knock down quicker, but for something compact and easy to setup, this is definitely an awesome product!

Sturdy - American Made
It was as advertised. What a sturdy piece. Yes the knob is a little weak, but you can easily screw the piece of wood.

so nevercease is a good prevention for this)
Overall solid construction, works as it should.A few warnings:1) the 2x4 retention knob on the back is plastic, which broke within 2 months of stationary use on my private range. The Allen screw inside of it can be used after the knob is gone so that helps its case (until it rusts into position that is, so nevercease is a good prevention for this).2) if your range is wet (as mine is in the Ohio clay) then I highly recommend putting this into the ground only when you’re ready to shoot. Otherwise the 2x4 will swell inside of this holder and it is a real mess to remove. If you experience this then the only remedy that I recommend is throwing it into a fire and burning out the board.

Very Well Built
wow is what I said when unpacked it. This thing is over built to last made of thick metal. I was worried when I ordered it that it wouldn't hold up to being pounded in the ground or hold a heavy steel target. My worries were put rest. The steak is 0.260" thick and the metal that houses the 2x4 measures 0.190" thick. The opening for the 2x4 is 3.620"X1.640" which works perfect for most 2x4s. The welds are great and the paint is thick for long lasting. Makes me proud that it is made in the USA.The only negative is the cheap tightening knob. My knob showed up broken from shipping but that is easy for me to replace.Very happy with this product and would order again.

Best stand I've ever used. Period.
This stand works great. The softer the ground the easier it is to set up. But if ground is hard use a block of wood to pound it in with a hammer. Holds a man target with ease. Worth every penny....

Serviceable
Arrived on time, in good condition, functions as described. Supports full-sized AR500 plates on heavy mount on 5' 2x4" pine stand under reasonably heavy fire. Holds up well in typical or hard earth, not adequate in very soft soil, sand, or gravel. Convenient to emplace. Use a block of wood to buffer sledgehammer when emplacing to avoid damaging paint.
