easy to put on but take your time
Killer grips, easy to put on but take your time. I wrapped my left bar slightly with electrical tape to help insulate. Works perfectly, I can't even turn them on the highest setting, it gets too hot.

Solid Product
This is a solid product; this a kit that contains just about all the pieces you'd need to connect the grips to your bike/ATV. The grips are so very warm that on high, they are nearly too hot! I am very happy w/ this purchase. The quality was fine; as so far the grips have been wet and survived some nasty crashes without any complaint.

good product
I ride year round snow and all this product is pretty nice works pretty good how ever my right hand is warmer than the left just because the way it mounts they are a huge pain in the ass to install in my opinion that being said my hands are still much warmer but not as hot as i would like and i do not care for the switch they send it with

I don't recommend using the provided crimp-on quick connects for the switch
These things get PLENTY warm. It takes a few minutes to warm up, but they are a game changer for winter riding. I don't recommend using the provided crimp-on quick connects for the switch. Far better to just solder the wires there. Other than that it's a quality kit.

Missing necessary components
1 star as of now because I received package and was missing half the parts. Package only has the actual heating elements with black cable, and the sleeve for the clutch side of the handlebar. Will update if/when I receive the other items

Warm hands once you sort it out
I have purchased two of these units. They do a good job of heating up the grips, keep my hands from going numb in temperatures around freezing. Probably not quite as effective as heated gloves, but once you have these installed they are certainly a lot simpler and more convenient.Install is not difficult although I was annoyed by an incorrect diagram for the rocker switch - the instructions that were included with my kit had the connections for the switch in the wrong order and at first the unit was not getting power even when switched on. If you have issues with them not coming on after install, take a second look at the connections and see if you've got them in the right order.A couple of other thoughts on install :- The instructions mention using the bar shrink wrap to insulate if you have aluminum bars, but I would suggest using it regardless of whether your bars are aluminum or not. Any metal will act as a heat sink and will reduce the efficiency of your heater. It only takes a moment to throw on the shrink tube and get it done while you are in there.- Pay attention to the orientation of the heat pads, they will likely not wrap all the way around your bars. Think of which part of your hands you want to be the warmest and make sure you aren't aligning the uncovered portion of your bars beneath that part of your hands.- Consider using heat shrink tubing to clean up the wiring after install for a nicer look.- If you have a decent level of comfort working with wiring, consider drawing power from your battery, using a relay to switch the power on and off. Don't forget an inline fuse!

Heat Demon 210019RR Motorcycle Grip Heater Kit
Purchased for my Honda CRF300 Rally but nor fitted yet. Had these on my previous bike, Suzuki DR650, and worked well. They are not as good as the Oxford heated grips (Five heat levels) but they allow you to select your own grips which is why I have gone with the Heat Demon grip heaters for my new bike.

The grip heaters work, but...
I successfully installed these grip heaters on my Honda Rebel 300. Instead of wrapping them around bare metal on the left and the throttle tube on the right, I put them overtop of the stock grips, then wrapped them in leather grip. Reason: I don't want to dump all that heat straight into the steel where it's wasted.Result: The low setting is barely warm, barely noticeable. I'd guess if you used it on low UNDER the stock grips instead of the leather wrap that I used, you wouldn't feel anything. The high setting is too hot for the way I installed it. I end up flipping the power switch between High and Low a lot.If you'd rather not replace your grips entirely and if you don't mind toggling it on/off all the time, these heaters will keep your hands nicely warm.

Only a one because there is not a zero
I received these and installed them. From the start only one worked, and it didn’t work well. The side that does work is intermittent, and does not heat up that well. Terribly disappointed in this product. do not buy, unless you want to be disappointed
