A must have for a ocean going vessel!
Perfect addition to my safety equipment aboard our boat. Small and easy to store. We are out alot to the bay and Gulf waters. This is a must have! Not to mention a great quality, length, and price.

Essential for any recreational boater
This rope throw bag is compact, light to carry and easy to manage. I used this to take several BSA Scouts through the Swimming Merit Badge, where we practiced line throws (where the line must be thrown 35-40 feet in total, slightly past and over the head of the victim and in water rescues where the rescuer must swim wide and then behind the victim with the line looped around their neck and shoulder. I bought the 75-foot version. The carabiner is ideal to immediately wrap around your waist if you are the tender or secure to a cleat or other object. The bag is mostly full of line when you throw it, and this is enough weight to get the distance you need -- over and beyond the victim so that they can reach for the line. It all works, but I would recommend practicing your throw many times. You have to get a feel for throwing it because if you miss, you have to reel it in, and it will now be completely wet and a different weight. This takes time while your victim may be flailing. It's one of those products that you buy if you are serious and if you are serious, you practice. Essential for any recreational boater.

Great safety feature
Great safety feature to have on the boat, I keep attached to the console for quick deployment but it fades and breakes down pretty quickly from direct sunlight. I replace it every couple of years
