A beast of a headset.
I am blown away by this headset. I have never really owned anything like it, and am thrilled with all of the features it packs. The build quality feels superb, and the sound can be too, and it has all kinds of EQ and Spatial Audio settings to really tune it so it sounds how you want it to. The design is really cool looking, and I love the RGB effects, which give it that personal touch. The headset is fairly large, but also highly adjustable, so it should fit most users okay.I am probably the most impressed with the active noise cancellation and head tracking technologies that the headset has. It has a gyroscope in it, so if you’re using Spatial Audio, you can turn your head, and the audio will move with it, which I just have never seen anything like.Though I feel I can give it five stars for the way I’m using it, I will point out a few potential downsides that may be a detriment depending on your situation. First and foremost, though you can use this thing on PC, console and mobile, I would not recommend it for Console or Mobile, as many of its features won’t really work without the PC software. Also, it is a wired headset, which I prefer, but some users may not, If these downsides are problems to you, you may want to look into the JBL quantum 910 that may not be as high spec, but are wireless and have an “X” and “P” variant that are marketed towards Xbox and PlayStation respectively, and thus are probably more compatible with console.

Great sounding wired headset
Overall sound is great with the Quantum One headset. I was up in the air on purchasing the wireless version or wired, and overall pleased with the wired. I have Sony earbuds so I really don't need wireless and these are exclusive to my laptop setup. This has a removal boom mic which if you're not careful can pull out slightly if you're not paying attention. I adjusted my mic through the JBL software to have a very light side tone as a mild reminder my microphone is plugged in. Side tone adjustments work great and I didn't think I would consider this a feature until I used it.I'm running a gaming laptop, which when I'm running in performance or turbo mode is loud with the fans to keep the system cool. The mic is crystal clear when I'm in game or Discord.Sound profiles are great and are a pleasant feature from switching from movies, music and then to gaming. The ANC works well. I tried to turn if off and really couldn't tell a difference, but for me I'm OK with this since my fans are typically loud and enjoy the quiet when I'm gaming. This could be a setting I'm using as I'm still fine tuning my setup.Overall, very pleased. I got these for 50% off which made the deal that much sweeter. JBL makes really nice products in my mind. I was gifted a blue tooth speaker which got me interested in them.

About as good as it gets for the $...
I'm not sure what all these other folks with mediocre reviews are griping about with these headphones. I've been around audio for the last 30 years and these things are dang near perfect for the audiophile tweaker, gamer, casual listener, Zoomer, etc. It could be the honeymoon phase, but I don't think so. I got them for the half price deal, (week of 11/23/20) and I've used them non-stop for the last few days and I've found very little to complain about. The current version of the JBL QuantumENGINE app seems VG so far for me. The spatial sounds and DTS modes work well, and even with all those bells and whistles turned off these are solid sounding headphones and would be hard to beat. I've had a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50Xs for the past couple years and straight up L/R these JBLs keep pace with the ATs. I ordered some HyperX and Razer models along side because I wanted to be able to do a true comparison, and I'm here to tell you there is no contest. JBL's hands down. They are pretty comfortable and I'm more of an earbud guy vs an over-the-ear. The mic is a little short, I'd prefer one less spongy and more tactile; Durability, who knows time will tell, they are 100% plastic; I would have made the other end of the cord USB-C if I were JBL and just included an adapter, but I understand why they did it the way they did; If I were stretching, I'd of wanted there a way to allow them to be used wirelessly too.Anyway, we'll see if my opinion changes after using them for some time but I was compelled to review and defend these headphones from the haters. Now I will concede, I probably wouldn't have hit the buy button at $300 so I'll give the haters that much. Peace!

Great for gaming, decent for other audio
I bought these to replace an Audeze Mobius headset that had the headband crack (common problem for those). The Mobius had phenomenal audio quality all around, and was great for gaming. Head tracking, properly configured is a must (IMO) for good placement of sounds in gaming. The JBL actually has slightly better audio placement in games (very 3D, can tell height and location very clearly), and I have enjoyed using them when gaming. The ANC is a nice bonus although I don't *really* need it. However, they are not as much of an all-around headphone, the quality of sound is decent but not great (then again, it's hard to beat Audezes for music, IMHO). The game/voice mixer knob is a very nice feature too, and works reliably unlike SteelSeries' buggy setup that is almost impossible to get working right (and impossible to KEEP working right if you ever do).A couple minor notes:1) The bass may be a bit too hyped out of the box. I used the built-in software to create a user preset to cut the bass a little to make it more comfortable for using for longer periods (and more balanced in general).2) The head position can sometimes drift a little bit, but is easily corrected by pressing the centering button on the earcup. So all in all, I recommend this headphone as a great gaming headset that offers near-but-not-quite-audiophile music reproduction.

Dont buy these, they break with windows
Headphones sounds great, when they work. They won't connect with OEM cable, had to use a different USBC cable just for the audio output to work. It will randomly distort and slow down any sound until you uplug and reconnect the headphones. It also somehow breaks YouTube and other videos where it will fast forward and skip videos without even touching anything. The videos play just fine with the headset unplugged. Unfortunately these issues didn't arise until after the return window closed so I wasted $150 😑

Amazing, Deep, Non-subtle Sound Experience
I've been using on ear ANC headphones for a few years now. My first pair were JBL wireless, but charging was a pain. However, the immersive gaming sound was shockingly good. Loud. Bassy. With equalizer adjustments, I found many sweet spots. When my all-important dongle gave out, I bought a different wireless headset that was probably balanced, but I really missed the intensity of the JBL's. So I got these wired JBL Quantum One's and I not only experienced the intense sound again, I also got to stop charging them! And they were on sale for at least a month over the holidaze! I can turn these up to jaw dropping decibels which reminds me of the old days of blasting music in the 80's. And the fact that I feel like I'm in a sensory deprivation tank each time I use them is a huge plus. The bass makes my heart think it's having palpitations. I don't need audiophile subtlety. I want my brain blown into the next century, and these headphones do that. I'm not a gamer, but gaming design makes everything better. I even bought another headset because my wire was giving out on the refurbished set, but also because I can't live without them.

Loose power cable, but comfy and good audio quality.
Good sound quality, decent mic quality. However, I'm on year 2 of using this headset frequently, and some of the ear muff material is falling off. Also the most obnoxious defect since day 1 (that I should have honestly sent it back for) is that the power cable comes loose very easily from the headset itself. To the point where sometimes it'll be a slight bump from being juuust not plugged in enough and it'll kill the sound, and sometimes you can fix it by pushing it back in, other times you have to 100% unplug and replug to fix it. Annoying, but not the end of the world I guess. Also, the volume setting is easy to bump or on rare occasions will turn up or down a notch quick makes a headset software sound, which is also not a big deal, just one of those quirks I got used to.

O grande defeito do headset é o microfone.

Read this before you buy these please!
I brought these a few days ago and have been using them for 2 hours, I found that the sound was very tinny and not very nice to listen to. The directional audio was perfect and amazing but other then that everyone that was speaking seemed to be very compressed like the audio out of a gaming headset mic. However the build quality was amazing and the anc was alright. The major let down was the sound quality for the product, the sounds were very unbalanced between footsteps and people talking in game especially in a game like fiveM where you have to be able to hear people clearly. I could hear the game clearly but not what other players were saying unless they were right next to me and even then it was so muffled.I would say avoid these jbl quantum products and go for something that isn't the first gaming specific headset from the company. Good features but not the quality you expect from a product at this price point.Returned after 3 hours.
