Tasty dark chocolate "feves" are great for baking, candy-making, and eating out of hand. This Guittard package is a good value, the texture and flavor are high-quality and it is easy to use. I only wish I could order it year-round--I cannot have chocolate delivered to my home in the South during the long summer months.

Great chocolate wafers
The wafers were the perfect thing for making buckeye chocolate candy. I placed almond bark chocolate in a pan over the simmering pan of water and added about 4 ounces of the chocolate wafers and the buckeyes were delicious as well as chocolate covered pretzels for Christmas candy.

Multi-purpose chocolate, baking, choc making and an excellent snack
I use this to make bon bons, melts beautifully and tempers easily. Multi-purpose chocolate. Almost as good as Valrhona.

my preferred chocolate for baking
I do like the pricier European chocolate wafers, but the price point is really too high for me. These wafers are made just south of San Francisco and their taste is excellent. I use the chips for cookies and bread puddings, but prefer the wafers for ganache. They melt beautifully and harden up nicely. Highly recommended.

Another incredible Chocolate from Guittard. My favorite tempering chocolate from Guitard is their 74%, but this is my second favorite. It tastes sweeter, but doesn’t have too much sugar. Frankly, I think it would appeal to almost anybody who isn’t exclusively eating milk chocolate. I love tempering it and making all sorts of mendiants, barks and clusters, but it’s great right out of the bag or in cookies. These ones do not melt when used in cookies
These wafers may only be suitable for melting to make pretzel's etc. When used in chocolate chip cookies the pretty much retained their shape and no noticeable melting at all. I guess I will have to stick the Valrahona feves, if I need the chocolate to spread. Hoped for a cheaper version, but did not work out.
