The Films of Bong Joon Ho (Global Film Directors)

Perceptively written. Unpretentious but intelligent. Nam Lee does not touch the glaring overstatement, but instead keeps her argument cautious but convincing enough. What she is especially interested in is how Bong Joon-ho recycles and breaks away from genre connventions in Korean sociopolitical contexts.
