Mindblowingly Good
This is the first review I have ever written for a product (and possibly). This computer has gone above and beyond my expectations for what I thought it could do. I am an architecture student and filmmaker, so you can imagine the types of softwares I use day-to-day: Adobe suit (photoshop, lightroom, premiere, illustrator, indesign) as well as 3d modelling and rendering software. This thing has been masterful for my worksteam.Film editing: can scrub and export 4k footage lightening fast. 3d software works like butter. zero lag. I've even thrown some RTS gaming in the mix and it just works so well. I am so seriously impressed with this as a package. One of the most important things to me - battery - has been top notch. I'd read a lot of reviews on the long battery, but even under heavy editing tasks I'm getting around 8 hours, 6 hours minimum 9 hours maximum. I'm sure for document writing/web browsing you could exceed 10 hours.Little details I love:1. the armoury crate button at the top.2. the ability to quickly change power/fan settings3. the trackpad (coming from a macbook - this is the one trackpad that truly rivals the macbooks precision and premium feel in my opinion).4. the keyboard is amazing comfortable to type on (better than my old mac).5. the build quality is insanely rock solid. some sort of aluminium/magnesium build all the way around, even in the keyboard keys.6. the 14 inch form factor is suprisingly comfortable to use even for content creation (I had my reservations about this as I tend to like larger screen sizes and my old mac was 15 inches. but I love this screen.7. the laptop always seems to be cool. even when typing on my lap. the thermal ventilation seems to be very well considered.8. the fingerprint sensor is very quick to unlock the laptop.9. the variety of ports are a godsend. I believe ports are very underrated these days (listen up Apple and Dell).10. it just looks like a beast (I got the grey version).Overall I really have nothing bad to say about this computer. it's the first windows computer I've used which exceeds my experience with macbook computers, which personally have been my daily drivers for the past 10 years. Took a punt with the G14 given how compelling the package was, and so far it has crushed all my expectations. As I said, this is the first product review I have ever written. I just love it.Hope this has helped!

Exceptional Performance 100% worth the investment
I was looking to upgrade from my knackered old Lenovo Ideapad 510, which was extremely slow to boot, the performance was degrading and awful. It would crash after opening just chrome on the desktop, that's how bad it was. In addition, the build quality was so bad the right hinge kept snapping every few months, and so kept costing me time and money to repair so often.I decided to go for the absolute best performing laptop, which never ever lags, I can open dozens and dozens of apps, open 50 tabs of chrome and it doesn't lag. A laptop that can boot up in seconds. I was also looking for a laptop which has excellent frame rates for Flight Simulator 2020, but not at stupidly expensive prices.I have had the Zephyrus G14 since November 2020 and I have zero regrets over it. It was the single best investment in a gadget I've made. It was the exact laptop that fitted my needs. The build quality, the material is much more agile and robust. This is certainly not a laptop I'll need to take to repairs every so often. And the performance is...wow. Just phenomenal. Boots up in seconds, never lags, opens so many apps seemlessly and butterly smooth. And the Flight Sim performance is fantastic, 30FPS for Ultra-High quality settings.I also really like the lightweight nature of the laptop, just 1.6kg, it's so easy to carry around anywhere and saves vital weight say when going off on a trip. The only thing you need to watch out for is PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure you follow the instruction and charge your battery for the full 3 hours BEFORE YOU USE IT FOR THE FIRST TIME. As a result of me not following instructions, my battery life is so much worse than it has potential to be. That's my single and biggest regret I have with this laptop. I may buy a replacement battery just so I can get the full 10hr battery potential.

Solid laptop wth good specs and value for money but windows is messing up the experience.
"I am absolutely loving it" - that's a 1 sentence summary. Being an avid apple macbook user from past 10 years, i made the switch after the recent announcement of switiching Mac to ARM processor.Anticipating a transition, i switched to a windows machne which can provide a good perfornamce on gaming and basic photo and video editting. This laptop has not yet disappointed.I am coming from a Macbook pro 16 Intel core i9 processor with a dedicated 5500M hraphice card, and this laptop with a 14 inch form factor has managed to beat the beat of 16inch MacBook pro in bechmarks and day to day performance.I am not a hardcore gamer, but do gaming on some of titles i like like GTA5, Tomb raider, Dirt 4 etc, and all games have performed without any issue.I am also using this machine for my day to day office work and I am able to easily extract 8 hr of battery life out of the machine (i do switch to silent profile sometimes).Couple of points worth mentioning -1. With AMD processor you are sacrificing TB3 connectivity, which could be a bummer to some, and also means no egpu support2. Screen is good and bright but is not a certified 100% RGB, which could be an issue for a few who are really particular about colour accuracy3. The keyboard backlight is not could definatly be improved. I would go for a grey model, rather than white as it is more usable with a relatively dim keyboard backlight.Update: While laptop is still running strong Windows 10 update has messed up the experience. The local network discover is gone haywire even though the all the settings are turned on. It’s a shame Windows update is messing up the usability of the an otherwise awesome machine.
