I gifted these to my brother-in-law for Christmas. We used these for our holiday meal and I'm sure they will get plenty of use throughout the year. These are good looking and seem to be much more durable than some of the more expensive brand name glasses.Though they are called "white wine" glasses and they do have the straighter sides as opposed to the rounded sides that are designed for red wine, these are large enough and wide enough that they can be used for either type of wine. They are very nice for every day use. My brother in law plans to hand wash and dry them, but they should be fine in the top rack of a dishwasher.I would buy these again because they are a very good value and the price is such that if one breaks, it won't break the bank to replace it. The six glass set is nice and appropriate for our family, but I wish that it was available in pairs to allow for replacement or for larger groups.

These are nice wine goblets.They are tall, have the over-sized bowl that has been popular for the last several years, and look pretty classy. They bring a touch of class to your drinking and for anyone outside the very rich they will look fancy to your friends. The construction isn't exceptional, but seems decent. I haven't noticed any real flaws in the glass.Having them come as a set of 6 is a nice touch. Most wine glasses I've owned/ordered over the years have come as sets of 4 and at a similar cost. When you consider that breaking one is almost inevitable, having 6 instead of 4 is a good thing.The only reason I docked a star from this review is because the stem of the wineglass seems fairly thin for the size of the bowl. It gives the wine glass a nice look, but the trade off is that it feels a bit fragile and top heavy. Avoid putting these on an even slightly slanted surface (such as in the sink), as they are almost certain to tip over (and then break).For this price, reasonable craftsmanship, and a set of 6, there's really no reason not to buy them.

Generally white wine glasses are small because we drink white cold, so (a) you want a small pour to keep it cool, (b) you want a narrow bowl to keep your warm hand off the bottom of the cold glass, and (c) you don't need a big wine surface area to give off aroma because the cold wine does not evaporate.So when you read "white wine glass" think "split a bottle between two glasses". I blame myself - I'm sure somewhere in the description it says this glass holds a lot more than 5 fluid ounces (a serving size) - I just didn't read that far down.On the plus side it was inexpensive. Also, after manipulating it at an angle to fit in the top shelf of the dishwasher, It did survive a full wash cycle so I will give it some marks for ruggedness.On the negative side, shoddy manufacture - some roughness where the stem meets the bowl.

When I opened the box I was surprised at how little extra packing was done to ensure they wouldn’t arrive broken. Amazon actually put the shipping label directly onto the box that the glasses come in. So not a lot of barrier for impact. But luckily, they arrived intact. These ARE on the heavy side. That’s not usually what I would go for but I was looking for a heavy glass for my picnic business. Something that would be better for use outside if it’s windy.

Nothing else to say..........these are too fragile for our household. We are not typically hard on stem ware. Don't use a dishwasher; hand wash all glass wear. Wanted these to be good.

I’m really enjoying my new wine glasses. They work well in the dishwasher. They are the perfect size and I would have given them five stars if I had received all six glasses!

These glasses are awesome! Who wants a tiny wine glass that doesn't hold anything. These are large and in charge! I looked back and saw I've purchased at least 42 of these glasses. I have 4 left. Time to buy some more! They're made out of glass, they break! Buy them, you'll love them!

i have ordered these numerous times but unfortunately, one was broken in the case this time and too much trouble to return as i needed them immediately.

For the price, it seems like a very good value wineglass. The glass is thicker than most wineglasses I'm used to, which makes it sturdy and likely last a long time. It was also recommended as an all around glass, that goes well with any wine, in an article I read, and it does seem to hold true. I didn't pay attention to the capacity when I ordered it, and was surprised how big the glasses are, which may be an issue if you want smaller and more standard sized glasses, but it works great for me.
