I recently purchased the Crucial 32GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM for a desktop upgrade, and the experience was completely seamless from start to finish. The RAM arrived in minimal yet secure packaging, which I appreciate from both an environmental and a practical standpoint. Installation was straightforward and tool-free – it clicked into the DIMM slot cleanly with no alignment issues. The system recognised it instantly on first boot without needing any BIOS adjustments. In testing, I ran a mix of everyday productivity tasks, gaming, and some heavier workloads like video editing to push the memory a bit. Performance was consistently stable, with zero crashes, errors, or bottlenecks. Speeds matched the advertised 3200MHz exactly, and the overall system responsiveness improved noticeably during multitasking. Amazing value - the Lenovo OEM costs £300 - this one was only around £72 when I got it, so a real deal. 32GB added, the Lenovo P16s Gen 1 had 16GB soldered on board already, so a total of 48GB now, great for having loads of chrome tabs open and running virtual machines. Note this SODIMM is a dual rank type which is excellent as it opens up the full power of the Intel Iris Xe graphics on the processor which require a dual rank SODIMM to be installed to work. The memory chips look high density (meaning loads of memory chips on the circuit board) which isn't a problem for my use case but if you're into tweaking sub microsecond latencies with a very high end graphics card and running some hard number crunching you might want to shop around before deciding. I don't see any difference myself, all my code runs perfectly fine on this. This 32GB works perfectly with my Lenovo P16s Gen 1, I can only recommend it. If you are going to buy the 16GB or 8GB module read up first if it is dual rank, if you're interested in the Intel Iris Xe facilities of the Intel 12th Gen processor. Very happy with this purchase. Note: The bluetooth antenna can be knocked off easily after opening the P16s case to install the SODIMM, it's a tiny MH4 IPEX connector towards the back of the case, double check this before closing the P16s up. The bluetooth range suddenly attenuated massively after upgrading the RAM. I got caught out initially thinking it was subsequent firmware updates etc. until I reopened the case (always trace your steps back to the last change(s)) and spotted this. This antenna connection is important as it doubles as the 2nd WiFi antenna as well.

Great RAM, installed on my laptop and worked like a charm. I can now run my Labs on laptop.

My laptop came with 16GB RAM soldered in and I was finding that when gamin 80% of the RAM was being used and everything was slowing down. Had a spare expansion slot for RAM so found this stick and got it the next day. Super easy to install on my ASUS laptop and it was up and running in 10 minutes, now running 48GB and using less than 40% of RAM even under heavy load. Would recommend for anyone looking to boost their RAM.

Should really have looked into it beforehand but I assumed having a gaming laptop, that I'd be able to overclock the frequency of the memory but I was wrong unfortunately. So I've paid a premium for memory that is unfortunately capped at 2666 as this is the maximum you'll get before overclocking. So no fault of the memory itself, just my laptop. This unfortunately means I'm stuck with a higher CAS latency with no added benefit from the increased frequency.

Bought to upgrade my ASU’s G14 from 16gb. Easy to fit, but had to be a bit more forceful than I liked to get it to click in place. However once the wincing and clicking was done it worked fine. Windows picked it up straight away, but for some reason only ran at 2666 at first. Rebooted again and this time rand at the full 3200. No idea what cause the initial slow speed, but all is good now. Gone from 16gb to 48gb and now the laptop runs a lot smoother and quicker
