Used this product as the nose bridge for face masks. The nose strip was sewn into the mask and therefore I cannot comment on use of the strip externally, nor on the adhesive properties of the product. The strip was inserted into a stitched channel in the mask, I did not attempt to stitch the strip itself. The strip seems durable ( to date none has snapped), and the tension achieved is good. Users report that the nose strip is easy to mould to their face and comfortable to wear. I advise users to hand wash their mask as I am not sure how durable the nose strips would be if subjected to a wash cycle, to date this seems to be acceptable. I would purchase this product again.

Bough for a crafty family member making home made task coverings. These have worked great and are a definite upgrade on the pipe cleaners that were being used before. Glue sticks well, shows through the material slightly when the completed masks are washed and are wet, but goes away again when dry. No signs of rust after washing. No sharp edges. Work exactly as expected, good value for money but probably many more than we actually needed. Very pleased. Update: have had another pack delivered as the first pack all got used! Very happy with the first set so ordered again.

I waited a long time for delivery of these probably because of the current pandemic. However, they are effective in that EU firmly stick to cotton fabric ( a bit tricky fitting as they stick like glue on contact so you need to get the positioning right first time. So, they are great, easy to bend around the nose. I would have liked them a little longer for an even tighter fit to stop glasses steaming up, but have found a solution for that. I recommend these as I haven’t been able to find longer nose strips. They are effective.

These started off amazingly, I love the smooth edges and the fact they stick to fabric. However, over time many face mask customers were coming back to me saying that the metal had snapped. So really good for face masks but just make sure not to overbend or repeatedly bend the metal too much or it does snap.

Perfect for masks - nice and thick, yet flexible. They won't twist like the cheap 'bread twisty tie' type nose wires. Great value for the money.

These nose bridge wires are excellent for home made masks but I have also used them in some masks I bought quite a while ago from a well know chemist chain which were basically rubbish as they had a very flimsy piece of plastic as a nose bridge shape and kept falling down. These are easy to push through and stabilise the masks. Also you get a lot so will last for a long time.

I have used these for face masks to avoid glasses from steaming up and in general it does work. The pack has a large number so plenty to give away! I have washed the masks with the nose ridge inside and had no issues but please note that I do hand wash and pour boiling water over the mask. I have not had any break yet so pretty durable so far. Great value for money and I am sure I will find other uses for them. I would recommend these.

Metal strips Using for face covering. Not sure how long will last. Exact size. Ends bit rough. Sticky not very stick. Il take out when i wash mask. Plent in pack so can double up for strength and replace if break. Happy

Les ponts de nez métalliques sont facilement collables sur un masque en tissu. Pour ma part, j'utilise un fer à repasser pour les coller au masque. Ils sont souples et rigides. Maintenant que je les utilise, je n'ai plus de buée sur mes lunettes.

Halten und sorgen dafür, dass die Brille wesentlich weniger beschlägt. Nachteil: Die Masken sitzen natürlich genauer und das Atmen fällt etwas schwerer, weil man tatsächlich durch den Stoff und nicht mehr an den Maskenrändern vorbei atmet. Zum Infektionsschutz aber natürlich noch besser. Bei schweren Stoffen könnte das aber dann doch zu sehr stören. Mein Workflow, der pro Maske keine 5 Minuten dauert, einem dafür viele beschlagene Brillengläser erspart: ✔ Bügel mit 3-4 Wäscheklammern an der Kante der Maske positionieren ✔ ein paar Sekunden anföhnen (Bügeln geht auch, allerdings dauert es dann sehr lang, bis der Kleber abkühlt, zumal das Metall dazu neigt, sich Richtung Bügeleisen durchzubiegen und vom Stoff zu lösen) ✔ Sofort den Bügel mit den Fingern andrücken. Tuch o. ä. als Hitzeschutz nicht vergessen, auch die Wäscheklammern werden heiß! ✔ Festhalten, bis der Kleber komplett abgekühlt & fest ist ✔ Ggf. bei losen Stellen wiederholen. ✔ Auf richtige Positionierung achten. Sonst hat man deutliche Kleberspuren an den falschen Stellen. Sieht halt nicht schön aus und der Bügel ist ohne Kleber nicht mehr nutzbar. ✔ Masken nur im Wäschesäckchen waschen, damit ein loser Bügel die Maschine nicht beschädigen kann! ❗ Bügelkleber hält meiner Erfahrung nach generell nicht ewig. Bewegung und heiße Temperaturen (Waschmaschine, Armaturenbrett...) lösen ihn logischerweise. Bei 30 oder 40 Grad mit Waschmittel werden Coronaviren übrigens zerstört. Nur ohne Waschmittel müsste man die Masken kochen. ❗ Bügel verbiegen beim Waschen. Daher lieber bei wenig Umdrehungen waschen, könnte mir vorstellen, dass sie sonst schneller brechen. Ist halt nur dünnes Blech und kein Spezialstahl. ❗ Am einfachsten bei Masken mit gerader Kante. Bei Masken mit gebogenem Rand etwas fummelig anzubringen, aber auch möglich.
