It will do in a pinch. Low quality, stiff, easily frayed ribbon similar to the quality & feel of floral ribbon. Frayed & unraveled in places right up to the piping. Not much lip to sew to. I expected apparel grade soft satin piping, not something akin to floral ribbon. Disappointing. I'll post an update after I wash it.

Used for piping on an Amy Butler bag. It was a little smaller than I would have liked, but that's my fault as the measurements they gave were accurate. Came on time and packaged well. The only reason for four stars rather than five is there was a bit of fraying on the cording (in one small part). However this could just be because of the gold material in particular.

If only I could give this zero stars. DO NOT waste your time,money and efforts ordering this. It looks nothing like picture.The cording has no volume of thickness.

The quality of this piping is better than you get at the chain fabric stores. I bought this for a pillow I was making, which this piping accented the fabric perfectly. I even used it on a jacket I made for my granddaughter.

I have used this when attaching a ruffle on a table cloth. Lots left will be edging place mats next

product was not as advertised . it said it was 1/8 cord plus lip. it was not. it was very small, about 1/16. not what i wanted, and this was the second time the order was wrong .

Nice. I am making a cape for a Wonder Woman and a Poison Ivy costume and I am using it for piping. There's a lot on the spool more than enough.
