sufficient to task intended
Unlike the 2" clamps I bought with these, the end caps are fine. They don't have irregularities that might cause a leak; the gasket that come with the useless clamps fit the grooves; the caps don't have holes in them (this is kind of in jest, but given how poorly the clamps are designed, I wouldn't put it past this manufacturer/brand (Dernord) to make these like donuts, as the engineers who design the clamps clearly don't know what these parts are meant for.

From the moment that you feel the heft of it you know it's quality. With it's single piece design and stainless steel composition, you know that it will be doing its job for decades to come. Don't settle for the 303 Stainless Steel, make sure you upgrade to 304 and it will be worth every penny!
