How long are the screws? I'm going to use wall plugs that screw into the plaster.

Hi, I used my own screws and made sure I screwed into brick they were about 30mm long and hav not had a problem It does depend on how thick the plaster is, you should really drill into brick Hope this helps

does the bracket really scratch the speaker or the anti vibe plates really work? cheers

No it has a clever locking system, the only way I could see that you could scratch the speaker is via miss handling. I haven’t hear any rattles from bracket. However, I use a pair as rear surrounds. I’m pleased with the brackets and I would say they are better that other brackets, I have use in the past for various home theatre builds.
