Hard to manage
It does smooth out the “rolls” but it’s next to impossible to get on even in 2 sizes up from normal size.

pretty decent. small leg holes. questionable corset laying flat
I am 5'8 180lbs. a size 12/14 on bottom and 10/12 on top.I bought this in a xlthe thigh holes fit a bit snug and tight, by the end of the day I couldn't wait to take it off because my hip/thigh/joint area was very rubbed raw. I was somewhat expecting this because I have very large thighs and butt :-(it did the job sucking in, and came up to the appropriate height on torso, although I would have liked another inch up I guess. I do have a long torso. I did not have a "pushed up back fat" problem.I did find that once the corset part was buckled, it didn't lay exactly flat once I started to move around. im not sure how this would look under form fitting clothing. so far I have only worn with pants and loose shirt.I plan to wear this on my wedding day under my dress that has lots of ruching, so I do not think it will be seen, and should hold me in.all in all it fits as I would expect it to.I know there are no miracles, and it doesn't make u supermodel skinny, only exercise does that ;-0I may try and cut a slit on the leg hole to give my thighs some more room.all in all it is a good product for the price.I may buy another if I can figure out how not to have the leg hole so tight on my thigh.

True to size, nice.
It took me a long time to choose a waist cincher off Amazon, since there are so many things to consider. After reading reviews, I decided to order a size down. The size I bought fit (got a L, though I wear an XL) but I am naturally bigger on the bottom, so I should have ordered my normal size. I can still wear it, but it cuts into my big legs a bit. Not awful, but definitely requires adjustment. As for the girdle part, it definitely does its job. I didn't feel uncomfortable in it, but I did notice that my stomach muscles felt a bit fatigued from my muscles being held in. While I initially thought this might be good for my abs, it also sort of worries me, so I'd like to get another one a size up and give that a try.It was pretty easy to put on. I just fastened the top and bottom hooks then worked my way up.Though it's not horribly noticeable under clothes, I wouldn't wear it with something super form fitting -- there will definitely be lines if you're wearing something directly on top of it that doesn't provide any coverage.I guess the bottom line is that it's definitely true to your normal sizes. Ordering down can make the leg openings uncomfortable if you're bigger on the bottom.

Warning: if you're not apple shaped, give this a pass.
I am a size 4/6 US, 5'5" tall, short waisted, 135 lbs. 28" ribcage, 28" waist, 36" hip. By the size chart recommendations, I ordered a Medium because I didn't want a back fat line at the top of the shaper. I needed something that would help define the fleshy part of my waist a small amount under a formal dress, but this is too large around the waist to do anything. I was able to hook it fully closed and I can still pull 2-3" more inches of fabric out of the front before it even begins changing the contour of my waist. I can alter it with some sewing to make the waist 4-5" smaller than it is, but I shouldn't need to.The back of the panties is far too shallow/short. Pulling the top band up under the bust (around the ribs as shown) means the back of the panties rides up so high exactly 1/2 of each butt cheek is covered. The remaining half has a panty line and looks comically ridiculous. If your booty is very small and high, this might not be a problem. If your booty is not tiny and high, forget it. If you have a long waist, forget it even if your booty is tiny.My belly is naturally flat, so this doesn't help my profile view, and even with a flat belly, the hook closure shows through a loose T-shirt. If your dress clings to your shape at all, skip this shaper. If your belly protrudes and your dress isn't loose fitting over the front of the waist, skip this shaper. If you have an hourglass shape already, skip this shaper.Pros: Easy to put on. easy to hook/loosen the crotch opening, and the 3 sets of loops at the crotch gives you more fit options if the leg opening is too large/small. Comfortable mesh. That's about it.

Almost happy
I received my Waist Cincher Girdle in just a couple of days of my order and of course once I received it I was very excited. I ordered it in black and a size Large. The cincher came in a neatly sealed plastic bag folded nice and neat. Once I took it out the pack I felt around on the material which feels very nice, very smooth material. I also like that fact that there are hooks on the crotch area for easy access for when you have to go the restroom. I thought that was a plus. The downside is, I read so many reviews that said how small the product was which made me second guess and went a size up (large) like a lot of buyers suggested. Needless to say I should have stuck with a medium. The large wasn't excessively big but it didn't do the job either. When you order a product like this you expect it to hold everything in place and when it's the item is too big, it's like having just another piece of clothing on. My stomach still stuck out having this on. All in all I'm sure if I got the right size I would have actually loved it. I will be giving mine away to someone that can benefit from it.
