I was having issues with a Nokia Android box stuttering on playback through a receiver to a projector. This was happening intermittently on a number of different apps and occurred whether streaming or playing a file from my server. It did not happen using my Firestick. For a long time I assumed the Nokia box was suspect, however, with the help of ChatGPT I narrowed it down to an issue with my receiver. For some reason, the correct info was not being passed through from the Nokia box, and this caused the playback issue. ChatGPT suggested forcing the format using an EDID device. Considering the box only cost £50, spending nearly £20 made me think twice, but I thought I could send the EDID adaptor back if it didn't work. No need! It did work and all the videos that had previously stuttered now play perfectly. Assuming the device lasts, it was money well spent.

I was having problems switching between two pcs to one monitor via KVM. On the pc running Win 10 the program I was using SDR UNO the panels were jumbled up when I switched from the other pc. After reading what was causing the problem I purchased this item and bingo everything works perfectly.

For me, who am a technician and live and repair many cards, this converter was essential to test old video cards on new motherboards.

Works very well as the latest NVR as all are 4K but the hdmi dvi distribution board is hd 1080. This device automatically steps the signal down to 1080 and enables the signal to be sent over the existing system. Good for using with existing hardware when there is new hardware introduced as I didn’t want the replace everything including cables for a totally new distribution system. Ie cost to use existing equipment, £20 or replace everything - £000s. A no brainer

Previous emulator failed by stopping passing audio. This fixed an annoying Win10 problem where a media uses a TV as its screen. Win10 goes into a radical screen redesign whenever you watch TV rather than media. This doodah fools win10 into believing the screen is always on and connected. Earlier versions didn't have this feature.

It displays the correct EDID and visually is very good However it only passes 2.0 audio even when connected to a 5.1 system.

Purchased to resolve EDID instability issues with a HDMI extender but couldn’t get it to work in conjunction with my Sky Q box (the source) due to the emulator not supporting HDCP. Might work for some use cases but didn’t work for me. I returned the unit.

Nintendo switch と古いAVアンプであるPanaのsa-xr57を接続するのに使用。sa-xr57のedidとswitchとの相性が悪く、480pのみの出力になってしまっていたが、この製品を間に噛ますことで問題を解決。この商品のedidは1080p、pcm 2chのようだが、switch からは問題なく5.1ch出力できている。

Bei einer etwas älteren A/V-Anlage wurden Windows-Laptops problemlos angezeigt, MacBooks und iPads nicht. Dieses Gerät hat das Problem gelöst. Vermutlich fehlerhafte EDID-Informationen der A/V-Anlage.

This thing rocks. Really saved my bacon. I was losing my mind with my steam deck connection issues while docked. It made TV gaming impossible. IMMEDIATELY, this fixed the problem. Maybe a premature review since since it’s only been about 30 minutes of gaming but not a single issue. I’m very happy with this. Gonna have to grab a couple more to see if it fixes my soundbar connection issues as well.

It is not working as mentioned.

This is the perfect companion to the Yolobox, as it makes it accept a lot more signals :) It does what it says on the tin, so if you need to force a source to send in 1080p, this is your guy
