These flat brushes are brilliant - the round ones loose their point quite quickly. Comparing the cost and performance of the famous/fashionable brands, these are excellent competitors.

I am completely new to art and love these brushes, they are long in the handle and quite chunky which makes them very easy to hold and handle.The bristles are well designed and spring back to position whichever technique you use.

The brushes are well made bristles are secure will not come apart when you use the brushes. I am a modeller finding the points on the brush paints the small parts with ease. Easy to clean after use. I find the brushes very useful. Value for money pleased with the purchase.

These Brushes may be a bargain BUT they are surprisingly Good! I've been watercolouring doe two n half years now, trying to teach myself and this is the first set of brushes I bought. I've used them all this time very often and the are still great - they hold lots of paint and have kept their points beautifully.I really recommend them! After reading mixed reviews of similar priced brushes I wasn't sure what to expect, these brushes are great value and are actually nice to paint with. Although they are synthetic material they hold lots of water and paint well. A really good addition to the beginner/intermediate brush pot. They also have a needle point so you can achieve fine work even with the thicker brushes, a really good buy.

Disclaimer: I have only recently received these brushes so don't currently know how they will hold up after extensive use.I bought the set of Filbert/oval brushes. They are extremely lightweight. I like the look of them, and the fibres seem to have a fairly decent 'snap'.However. The brushes already wobble, like the metal bit and handle could come apart at any moment. I always gently wash new brushes in lukewarm water to release the factory 'glue' feel, but I can already see a few bristles coming loose. And, if I'm being picky, the metal part of the brush also looks scratched up and scuffed.For the price (I paid just under £7 for a set of six) I think this is an okay set for a beginner, provided you are cautious when applying pressure etc. I have tried other affordable brands which I have found to be very, very good quality such as Artway and Daler Rowney.

Great value for money. I use them mainly for gouache paintings. Will buy again once they get damaged in use.

A bit on the expensive side but good quality and fast delivery.
