I am the owner of a large commercial recording facility in the Northwest. We rely on high track count / high transfer rate cables to operate. If a product is advertised as being in this category, we depend on that information to be accurate and truthful when we make our purchases.----The product listed here is EXTREMELY and deliberately misleading, buyer beware.----The product description clearly states " highest quality materials and shielding, AWM 20276 rated cable". The branding code on the side of the cable is there to insure that your buying the cable you think you are. What arrives at your door is an unbranded cheap Chinese cable that is not even close to holding the rated Firewire 1394a/b advertised speeds. This type of 'bulk' cabling can be purchased from any of the other vendors on Amazon for 3.99. You will likely get a better cable this way.Attempts to contact the company will result in you being put on an "Automated Script" which simply puts you on hold with the message that "all other operators are currently busy, please leave a message" then hangs up. These types of automated phone scripts are becoming more common, I know because our company records the very messages used in these automated scripts. It's designed to give you the impression that someone will care about your call when the company is way to busy to ever return them.If you look carefully at the company logo that they have posted on Amazon, you will notice the big red, white, and blue USA but the actual cable shown is effectively covering the 'seller' in smaller print. This is to give you the impression that you are buying a quality product and is unfortunately a growing trend of deceptive online marketing. Our advise is to buy from a more reputable and trustworthy dealer that does not try to deceive it's customers.

Very nice cable. It solves a problem I have perfectly and I saved money over what I would have paid if I had bought it in a store, such as Best Buy. The transaction was fine, no problems. Delivery was quick and the product was exactly as described and works perfectly. Buy this with confidence it will work.
