Necessaire The Body Exfoliator (Sandalwood)

I love everything sandalwood. But this smells nothing like sandalwood. This smells strongly of black pepper ( the kind you cook with).It has small exfoliating beads that do a decent job of getting the dead skin off. And it suds’ nicely the more you work it in. This uses AHA. So this is a product that you see results over time. Im cool with the wait, because Im only using it on my lower legs and feet.I will say the price is NOT justified. There are drug store brands that do the same thing, for far cheaper. I assumed the high price meant it was a ‘luxury’ product. I don’t feel it is. Especially since they got the scent wrong.Im going to use the rest of mine up. But I wont be repurchasing at this price. If your getting it for the sandalwood smell, -don’t. You’ll be disappointed.

It’s “ok”, and the scent is very pleasant, but the black grit doesn’t easily go down the drain, but sort of sticks to the sides of my tub and shower.
