This is modern edition, without the original Johnny Greulle illustrations. A waste of money.

We didn't get to read this one this year - time constraints - but looking forward to putting it at the top of the list for next year. My students enjoy having a "theme" that our stories revolve around for the week - even though we're not supposed to "teach themes" anymore...(don't get me started). I would actually say these would be good for K-2 as read-alouds. There looks to be a lot of text for my 3-5 year old SpEd kids...their attention span isn't as long. I'm all for introducing kids to the classics - and Raggedy Ann & Raggedy Andy stories fit the bill really well! Great additions to any teacher's personal library - great for parents & grandparents too!

My sister and I read this book many times in our childhood and we adore this story. Our book became lost over the years and we longed to have this story again. I bought this book for my sister and another for myself. Thank you Amazon for offering this book from this wonderful seller.
