Tuuber vent 1-1/2 inch Dual Seal drain vent

I had previously installed a drain s-trap on my washing machine drain line.Out of concern that the drain would need make up air (a vacuum breaker), I installed a different manufacturer’s make up air valve.Was not happy with it’s inability to reliably seal and contain sewer odor !Upon doing some internet research and reading reviews of the DOUBLE SEAL Tuuber Dual-Seal 20, I was convinced to try this product.I am happy to say that this product performs as advertised and consistently seals out sewer gas odors.It works so well, that I installed another one as part of a kit, on my kitchen sink drain.I highly recommend these make up air valves!,

I just installed it, so I can only say it worked right away to solve my slow drain problem. Many reviewers that tried to break it gave it higher votes than the competition, so I went with their advice. Cost a little bit less, and seems to be a bit better made (dual valve).I couldn't fit it easily in my tight under sink space, so I ran an arm off of a sanitary tee over the waste line (see pics), and this works just fine. Also, I chose to use no-hub fittings so that when I have to replace this (they don't last forever), I can do so more easily than glued parts. I was stoked to find a no-hub sanitary tee! Well worth the saving of effort in getting everything to line up perfectly in my tight space!!

I bought this to replace a cheaper $6 Oatly AAV. This seems to be better. I haven't noticed any smell from the sink since

I have had off and on odor problems from both my kitchen sink drains and in the cabinet space under the sinks. It had become pretty bad. I ordered these and replaced the cheap crap that was on the vent pipes under both my kitchen and master bath sinks. The odor was completely gone within 5 minutes. AMAZING!

Tried to hire a plumber lately? I end up doing the simple stuff myself, even thought I would rather not. Being able to install an Air Admittance Valve under the kitchen sink or in the wall behind the washer can make remodeling much easier.

Easy to install, just make sure you have a female coupling on hand. There are simple instructions that come with it.

No more sewer smell. Throw the OEM’s in the trash.
