So I held off from writing a review until I had tried it every which way I could or was recommended. I ordered the Vanilla Flavor and the Cookies & Cream flavor. My concern with this stuff is always the flavor because I know what the nutrition facts are since they are printed on the package itself so whether they are true or not there they are, but flavor is different for everyone. They can say "greatest tasting ever" or "america's number 1 tasting protein.." but you can only know once you try it yourself. As for me I can easily say this has a really great taste to it I'm really loving it, the way I like to make mine is 8-10 oz of water per one scoop, any more water than that and it doesn't taste as good unless I add another half a scoop, it's the same for both flavors. Although the best taste definitely comes when you add a little milk to it. When I tried it with milk I had 4 oz of milk with 8 oz of water and one scoop of the powder and mixed it in a mixer and woooow the flavor was amazing! I used 2% milk since I had ran out of 1% just in case you were wondering. When I'm using this at home this is definitely how I'll be making them always it was really good, as for the gym I don't have access to milk so I'll have to stick to water there. As for results I'm not sure yet I just started using this for about 5 days since writing this review I'll have to get back to you all on that, but yes this does taste really good it all depends on how you like to prepare it for yourself and if the nutrition facts are true this protein powder is a real winner! oh and I recommend mixing, I had practically no clumps when I stirred it as opposed to shaking it, that is of course if you have something on hand to stir it with. UPDATE~~~ I've now tried all the flavors they're all great but my least favorite definitely has to be the triple chocolate

I am looking at this product from a strictly 'added protein' perspective. Not dieting, not working out, just do not eat well enough to get what I need so i supplement and add stuff to smoothies. This has a great flavor and a slight sweetness that i like. It costs less than what they sell in the store and you get a LOT! If you are older, and don't need a lot of protein, or eat enough in your diet that you just need a bit more, do not use the giant scoop that comes with it. Figure out how much you need and use a smaller scoop that will supply your needs. It lasts a lot longer that way and you do not get More protein that you should have. Yes, you Can get more than you need and that will go to fat too! Did you know that? I don't think that is legal, is it? (Like birthday cake should Never be fattening). Anyway, I have this on my buttons and on my honey list, so I can get it when it is down and not up. You should try it and see how great it is.

I have tried so many different protein shakes, I can't even remember the names of some of them. Typically what I am looking for in a protein shake, is naturally, the amount of protein, lower calories, and taste. More recently, I discovered that some protein shakes include glutamine in them, which saves me the hassle of having to take another supplement. I originally bought a protein formula from GNC that contained glutamine (it was an impulse buy) and when I went to buy it again, was unwilling to pay another $60 for it. So after some research, I bought this from Amazon. The taste is actually the first shake I have ever been able to mix with just plain water. It also mixes a lot better in water and doesn't get all clumpy. Naturally, I assumed it would taste even better with milk, but just the opposite, it tastes like really heavy cake frosting (the french vanilla flavor), which makes me want to vomit after a heavy work-out session. Most other protein shakes, I have to mix with milk because of the taste and they typically clump more in water, but I hate getting those extra calories from milk, especially when I am trying to stay away from dairy. So this is awesome for just mixing in water, which is also great when you are on the go. Finally, I am no expert on the amount of glutamine I have to take to experience the anti-soreness characteristic that is so awesome, but the amount that is in the serving size is just perfect. I can definitely tell the next day if I have not taken this shake as I am sore to point of it hurting to move the muscle group, and generally more out of energy. When taking the shake post-workout, I am still a little sore the next day, but more in the sexy feeling 'I-worked-out-and-my-muscles-feel-really-big-and-strong' kind of sore. So for a decently priced, decently tasting, decent protein shake with glutamine, you should definitely get this.

This stuff works. I've been using it for years. Great results within a week of regular exercise without having to overpay for the same thing at GNC and the like. You can also buy this brand at WalMart as well as body fortress but having tried both I like this ones results better. The taste is not bad. I won't over compliment it buy saying it tastes amazing or whatever like some of these other reviewers but it tastes ok. Almost good even. I'd recommend the vanilla honestly. But all the flavors are pretty good. Directions say to drink it an hour before or after exercise but I see lunkheadsin the gym drink it during. I've experience results following the directions. Just practice self restraint and follow the directions. You can also drink some when u wake up as well as an hr before or after for even faster results. Oh and I also recommend spending the extra 6 or 7 bucks to buy a blender bottle with this here on Amazon cuz I'm telling you the markup in retail stores is at least 40% you will find the blender bottle at its cheapest here on Amazon and its perfect for mixing this with. I don't recommend the spoon stir method. It just doesn't feel mixed all the way no matter what if u do it that way. Buy a blender bottle you'll be glad u did.

I originally found this product at my local grocery store but for a much higher price. I like to put this in my coffee every morning. It tastes great and mixes easily. I put it in a quart Mason jar with 1/2 water and 1/2 coffee and blend it with a wire whisk. It was a game changer for me when I made the decision to change to a healthier diet and lose some weight. It gives me a good amount of protein and I don’t feel hungry for 7-8 hours. If I don’t set a timer to remind me to eat a light lunch, I won’t even think about it. I use it to make high protein waffles for the kids. They love the taste and will eat them plain or dip them in yogurt or peanut butter for breakfast, snacks or even “breakfast for dinner”. They love them and it’s so easy for me because I can make a big batch, keep them in the fridge and warm them up in the toaster.

I usually buy the triple chocolate flavor, which I think is pretty good. I thought I'd try the vanilla this time. I don't like the vanilla as much as the chocolate. The flavor is too strong and has an artificial taste. I can drink the chocolate plain in water, but the vanilla doesn't taste good plain. It's better if I add almond milk or Oregon Chai Slightly Sweet concentrate. The vanilla flavor doesn't blend as easily as the chocolate. If you use a blender cup, it works better if you half fill the cup with liquid, put the powder in, then more liquid, then shake the cup. If you put the powder in first, a lot clumps at the bottom and it requires a lot of extra shaking to get it blended. If you put the powder in after filling the cup with liquid, a lot of it sticks to the lid of the cup. Also when I opened the container the first time, it was only half full. The chocolate flavor is usually 3/4 full. I know that it is mostly due to settling, but they should use smaller containers so you don't feel like your paying for air. The container is very hard to open. The lid is very wide, so it's hard to get a good grip on it. Also the label on the bottom slides around when you're turning the top, making it even more difficult.

I've drank protein shakes for more then 30 years. This mix has everything you want. Been on it for the last 5 years. I will not deviate. It's great! Mix in your bananas, peanut butter, grains whatever, it takes it and makes it better..... I'm a fan

This is a good product. This is the vanilla flavor. The taste is great, don't have to add any sweetener to my shake, the protein powder is efficient also as a sweetener.
