NOT FOR BEGINNERS, but really effective exfoliant
If you are new to skin peels, this is not the product for you. Start with something less concentrated. I have used peels for a long time and worked my way up to this product. It is important to follow directions to the letter, have a neutralizer on hand ready to apply, and do not leave on your face longer than recommended.Having said that, this peel is the bomb! It left my skin feeling so smooth, and about a week later, after my skin recovered from the peel (it's normal for the next several days to experience less than amazing skin- peeling, dryness, sensitivity, but that is because the product is working to turn over those skin cells) my skin looked and felt amazing. Smoother, brighter, plumper, and more vital.Since this is a pretty intense peel, you WILL feel some stinging/tingling/mild burning sensation when it is on your skin. To me, this felt just like the peels I would get at the spa and spend $100 on, and those were very intense, but effective, so I wasn't too worried. DO NOT BE TEMPTED TO LEAVE ON LONGER than the recommended time, which is 1 minute. This peel is very strong, and you can cause pretty severe irritation or chemical burns if you try to leave it on longer. Also, I recommend prepping the skin with 50% strength rubbing alcohol or witch hazel as directed before using the peel. I found this really improved my results.I also had a neutralizer on hand made of baking soda and purified water to apply as soon as time was up. You can buy a neutralizer online for about $12, or you can spend $1 like I did on some Arm and Hammer. Make sure to rinse all of the product thoroughly, then apply the neutralizer.I don't recommend using this product too frequently. It is a very intense peel, so for me, it's a once a month treatment. I use lower concentration peels in between. The directions say you can dilute the product with distilled water, but I haven't tried diluting it.If you are sued to spending big bucks for effective peels at the spa, this product is an amazing value. You get numerous treatments for a fraction of the cost of just one in-spa peel. If you apply the product with a fan brush, as recommended, you actually need to use very little product, so one bottle will give you numerous treatments.

Great product. Better know what you are doing with It!
So.. let me tell yโall about my acid peel experience. ๐ฌAs I get older, Iโm starting to get more and more wrinkles. We all age, we all get wrinkles. ๐ต๐ผSo about 2 months, I have started a nightly face wash and moisturize routine to take care of my skin Iโm in. ๐ฅฐNote: Iโm horrible with reading reviews.. so I read these reviews.. all said that this product was amazing. ๐๐ผReading the reviews, NOBODY.. no ๐๐ผbii๐๐ผ deee๐๐ผ said to start on a lower % if not experienced or used to this product.. ๐ณ So this is 70%. SEVENTY PERCENT. Not 10, not 30, not 50.. 70!Not really understanding the small simple directions on the bottle, I YouTubed It. Found an amazing video that helped me through this process. Did it step by step. Thank god for this video bc if not I would be in the hospital right now.The moment I brushed this on my face, instant REGRET! Feeling like I face planted into a fire pit, feeling like I met the devil down in hell, looking like my blood pressure is 280/190, closest thing to hell I have ever witnessed. ๐ฅThe LONGEST 4 minutes of my life! And to do this weekly??? ๐ This will make you embrace the wrinkles, embrace feeling normal, embrace French fries, everything. ๐ซMaybe Iโm a puss but this will make any man cry ๐๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธP.S. Iโm ok! Just not sure if Iโll visit the pits of hell and lava anytime soon โ๐ผ****And this product did exactly what It was supposed to do .. I would recommend It to anybody who knows what they are doing bc clearly I didnโt ๐****

Good DIY peel
Iโm familiar with glycolic peels. I can feel the tingling and burning sensation immediately. I can leave on my face for 4-5 mins with no problems and this achieves the peeling I expect.Pic on left is day after peel. Pic on right is 5 days later. I apply the acid to a cotton pad and apply to clean face. I do it when I donโt have to be in public for the next few days. It will immediately tingle and burn, somewhat uncomfortable but not unbearable. Because this is 70%, first time leave on for 1-2 min MAX. If you tolerate it well, extend time in 2-3 weeks. Normal effects are redness and spots like you see in my photo. They will go away in a few days. You should experience some peeling. Itโs a peel. After time is up, I rinse thoroughly with cool water. No neutralizer but you could use one. Water does the trick you just have to be sure you rinse, rinse, rinse.Pat dry. Apply good moisturizer. Thatโs it. DO NOT apply around eyes or get on lips.

Disappointed - not the same product
Iโve been ordering this product for several years now. I use it regularly throughout the year so I know what to expect. I took a break from it, simply got out of the habit. Decided to order it recently and noticed no improvement on my skin, nor did I feel the product. Normally, you have to build up to it, increasing a little at a time because it burns a bit. Totally normal. This product does nothing, you feel nothing. Watered down. Waste of money. Find another one.

Well, it does burn a little
I havenโt seen any improvements to my face, but there really was nothing wrong with my face as far as no blemished or scaring. While my skin is clear it just look a bit dull. This probably wasnโt the product I needed. I used it for about 3x a week for 3 weeks and no changes. I did feel the burn though. This is a replacement bottle because the first that was sent out was just water. It didnโt have a scent or texture and it felt like it was just water. No burn, stickiness or dry feel to it. If you receive a bottle that does not at least tingle when you test it, send it back because you do not have a good product. You should definitely feel the tingling/burn sensation at 70%.

Eh..not very effective
I'm not new to acid peels and have used a different 70% peel before. I tried this on face/neck/chest for 3 mins. There was some tingling, but not much, and no frosting. The next day skin felt as smooth as if I'd used mechanical exfoliation that morning. No signs of peeling. Will try for 5 mins next time. I've used different peels of weaker acids which have given the same results.

It works, but it's not 70%
EDIT: The next day a mild peel had taken place all over my face, so I'm super happy about that! I stand by it not being 70%, but I very much so enjoyed the results! I believe I will be purchasing this again!I decided to try this brand since the brand I normally use required flat rate shipping.I have to echo other reviews here saying the formula is weak. A 70% Glycolic Acid when put in pure form on your skin should burn quickly and be overwhelming. I put the pure liquid on my skin and I did get some burning sensations, but this is not 70%.For those familiar with what varying percentages of Glycolic Acid feel like, I would compare this to a 40%. I put it on, it definitely burns, is slightly uncomfortable, but I'm able to handle it. I regularly use a 20-25% peel on my face about once a week and the pure 50% liquid of the other brand I normally purchase isn't even tolerable on you skin because it burns so much. This brand is just weaker. For those who are first timers or new to the skin peel game, I don't want you to be misled: This is not a 70%. If you end up going with another brand you may be absolutely shocked when you get the real thing. If you do decide to purchase this, do a test spot on your jawline or the tip of your nose (where your skin is thicker) and move from there. If it ends up being too strong, remember that a baking soda paste is an immediate neutralizing agent.Happy skin peeling!
