Neat concept, still needs work
EDIT: I was very impressed by the customer service I received from Poward Forward Ventures after I posted this review. Lisa apologized for the product having technical issues and walked me through some troubleshooting steps via e-mail. After speaking with her on the phone for a while (no wait, by the way, and she was the one to answer ++), we determined that my issue was likely caused by a bug that will be resolved by the next firmware update. She gave me a standing option to get a complete refund if I am not satisfied with it, but I think I will hold onto it a while longer. Although I cannot get it connected to my local network, it works in standalone hotspot mode. There are a few bugs that need to be addressed with the firmware and the iOS app, but it is a new product. I'm okay with it having a few kinks along the way as long as Rocki and their affiliates are responsive and helpful, which they've proven to be so far.P.S. The three main issues I noticed with the iOS Rocki app:1 - choppy volume control (plus, no way to control the volume when your phone is locked)2 - sometimes I click on a song and it will load a different song3 - swiping out of the left nav is a bit difficultORIGINAL REVIEW:I was excited when I received my Rocki in the mail last week, but the initial setup did not go smoothly. There is limited documentation online for the issue I was having. My Rocki seemed to be stuck in hotspot mode, even after the firmware update and I "successfully" connected to my router. I would love for this device to work as it intends to, but so far it hasn't delivered.

Poor
This product has a major issue in my experience. When in hotspot mode, it receives audio from an AirPlay device (tested with 2 iPhones in my case) for about 5 minutes before it disconnects the audio source. You are then unable to reconnect to the wi-fi hotspot until your reboot the Rocki unit.

Good idea sounds good but app is poor. Drops out all time says one thing does another and no shuffle that I can find. Confusing to set up on app also.

Die App ist absolut das letzte (funktioniert nur teilweise- Android 8). Das Gerät selbst hat große Probleme die LAN-Verbindung zu halten. Immer wieder muss ein Neustart durchgeführt werden. Keine Wiedergabe von Quellen im LAN. Gerät bleibt eingeschalten bis die interne Batterie leer ist, wenn die externe Stromversorgung weggenommen wird. Die Webseite ist jahrelang nicht angepasst worden. FAQ läuft ins Leere und es gibt keinen Support! HÄNDE WEG von diesem Produkt!!!!! Meine Empfehlung- SILVERCREST SMRA 5.0.A1. Funzt top, App unterstützt auch andere Geräte im Markt (z.B. DAB-Radios mit LAN-/Internetfunktionen)!

Excepcional
Un poco más liosa quizá la puesta en marcha inicial desde iOS (no es fiable la app, mejor hacerlo desde el navegador contra la dirección del Rocki en modo hotspot, 192,168.0.1) que desde Android, pero una vez puesta en marcha funciona sin problemas tanto desde cualquier dispositivo con Spotify (eso sí, cuenta premium) o desde iOS con la función AirPlay.

Cela fait maintenant une semaine que j'utilise Rocki et si en effet son installation est fastidieuse, j'ai fini par l'installer avec l'aide du Forum sur leur site et après une mise à jour du software, cela fonctionne plutôt bien.Je n'utilise par leur application sur smartphone qui elle est vraiment foireuse, je passe par airplay et spotify connect et je dois reconnaitre que pour cette utilisation le rocki est stable. Si l'on n'oublie pas de se déconnecter de spotify connect auparavant je peux facilement passer de l'un à l'autre avec plusieurs appareils.Donc au final, pour des produits apple et une utilisation spotify je suis satisfaite, cela ne marche pas du premier coup comme une airport express mais c'est la moitié du prix et a l'avantage d'avoir spotify connect. Si, sur le long terme, l'utilisation reste la même, je pourrais investir dans un second.
