I really like the concept of this product however, it did not end up working for me. The plastic lid wasn’t sturdy enough for me to push down hard enough to get even the tiniest piece of garlic fully through. This made cleaning very difficult. I had to use a toothpick to clean each metal grate. And after pressing the first few garlic pieces the metal grate bent. I also had the instinct to to squeeze the bottom and top of the container at the the same time to get some extra force but I cut my finger because the extra grate is stored on the bottom of the device. Be careful with that. Again, I love the idea but I ended tossing mine since I waited so long to try it out I don’t think I can return item.

I've bought 5 of these gadgets over the past few years. (So handy I give them away to my guests.) I've washed all the parts in the dishwasher, contained in a small basket, and never had a problem. Both the blade insert and the cleaner grid are the same grey plastic. When we replaced our dishwasher I had a problem with the cleaner grid warping. This in not the fault of the product, I just didn't realize this new appliance ran so much hotter.Inadvertently, I broke the grid in half......and it works just as well!This tiny element in the design is really a "hook" that makes it so easy to use. I'm so glad I accidently broke it.

Do not buy this product. Not only couldn't it mince garlic, the plastic holding in the blades cracked with the first use. Rather than mincing, the garlic just smushed into the top. 100% junk from China

Love garlic but hate to handle it. This d loves a problem. Finally used it.

Hard to use...needs a lot of strength to pull it down

First time used it bent do not buy this it’s not worth it.

The flimsy little blades twisted and popped out after the first use. I have never written a bad review for anything that I've purchased on Amazon, but this thing sucks!
