Still not working!!! Update: Being Returned.
Have not been able to get it to work yet. The device will not connect to my wifi. I'm giving them about an hour to reply to my email and then this is going back.Update:I spent the morning on this and was finally able to update the firmware and get the Rocki to connect to my wifi. Excitedly, I went to the living room to plug-in the Rocki to my home system. When I plugged it in, nothing. In a spot in my house where my phone, iPod Touch, and multiple tablets can all connect to my wifi, the Rocki loses signal.Buggy software is one thing, but when combined with 2nd rate hardware, Rocki is a COMPLETE failure. Headed back to Amazon. I have a feeling that they have a huge pile of these returned units. They probably ship them back to Rocki by the dump truck full.

DO NOT buy Rocki
This product is pitiful. Every time I try to connect it to any device I end up wasting an hour or more trying to coax it into life. This is the worst technology product I have ever used. The connection is ridiculously complicated. They have promised multiple Rocki connectivity AND an app for the Mac and neither have materialized (after a long wait!). This product was started on Kickstarter and it has the feel of two kids in their parent's basement trying to set up a company. DO NOT buy Rocki.UPDATE: I ordered the new Chromecast Audio device as an alternative to Rocki and will try to update this review when I have had a chance to try it out.

Don't do it. Maybe.
This an updated version of my previous 1 star rating for this product. What you see in the second paragraph below, my original review, still holds true for the Rocki and its software.I didn't get it to work and heard only one time from the Rocki support team, which wasn't useful. Much to my astonishment, the seller, Power Forward Ventures actually contacted me, daily, in trying to work out the technical difficulties with me. Unfortunately, the unit I received appears to just be a dud. Power Forward Ventures is processing my refund and additionally, sending me a new Rocki to try out. That's amazing customer service. I'll give the new unit a try and if warranted, update this review. As for the seller, they are outstanding. If you're going to buy the Rocki, buy it from Power Forward Ventures.The Rocki app is worst software I've ever used on my Android phone. Setup is a time consuming nightmare. If you look at the Youtube videos it would appear to be easy but it is not. The forums are also useless as you are suggested to reset your router or change your router password or other steps which are unnecessary but if the software was implemented correctly. Unless you like to be frustrated by poor products and worse support, don't get this Rocki.

Does not work long term
Was unbelievably difficult to set up, but once I finally got it work, it worked... for a honeymoon period. Since then, it works intermittently, then will drop out. When it does work, it's awesome, so I keep trying to troubleshoot but I think I have to admit defeat at this point. Impossible to update firmware. "Support" completely nonexistent. I hate this company and implore you not to waste your money on this. Too late for me!! If it had just failed from the beginning, I would have returned it and gotten a refund, but since it worked at the beginning, now it's too late for me to get a refund.

Cannot Charge & Stream At Same Time Without Electrical Interference; Low Volume; High Hopes for Next Hardware Version
I wanted the Rocki to be great. It's unusable. It's meant to be mobile, which is great; it is ONLY meant to be mobile, which is an unnecessarily disappointing limitation. This should be great, whether on the go, or constantly plugged into my car, or any set of home speakers. You cannot use this while charging. IF you're lucky enough to have USB & audio cables skinny enough to both fit plugged in at the same time, the close proximity of the two ensures that the electrical current in the USB cable will cause unacceptable static, clicking and popping. The volume level is also annoying low, so nearly any type of outdoor or social situation is out, aside from a quiet chat on the couch, even with my 1,000 home theater system at max. I still want to believe in Rocki, but I am not really sure how this design passed QA. Hopefully future versions will resolve these seemingly massive engineering and design oversights. I was unfortunately out of town for work, and missed my chance to return this thing. I may improve the rating depending on customer service.

I am a gadget freak and (through work) a bit of a computer/wifi expert. I could not get my ROCKI to work. First, I got it to connect to my network. But then every time I tried to use the app, it threw my phone off the wifi network. I rebooted ROCKI and tried again. Next, ROCKI wouldn't connect to my network. Reboot. Try again. Now the setup hangs when ROCKI tries to find the network.Sorry, ROCKI. I'm returning you. Here's a suggestion ROCKI: Don't release your product until your software works. Customers are not beta-testers.

Worried about other reviews, but it is awesome.
I was skeptical based on the reviews, but It works great for my application.I connected it to a stereo receiver in my pool house so I could listen to Spotify while in the pool. I had a Bluetooth receiver before, but it cut out if someone walked between the phone and the receiver. The range was also very limited.Now I can walk around the pool and the entire yard and it works perfectly and the sound quality is much better.I logged onto website for setup and in three easy steps it was setup and ready to go.I then brought up Spotify and I was listening to music, adjusting the volume, skipping songs, changing playlists,.....This is the first review I have ever written and was compelled to share my experience.I am going to order two more for my receivers in the house.
