2" Horizontal Blinds Metal Hold Down Brackets (2)

Im so glad i found these. Hopefully I won't have to replace them like i felt like I was constantly doing with the plastic ones. The size of the pins are MUCH larger than reviews mentioned. I had to drill a huge hole using a 1/8 drill bit (which I had) in order for the pins to fit. It made me nervous because if these metal one didn't work, I've made the hole so much larger than the plastic ones take. So far it has held up fine. Also, they don't send screws for the bracket to the door so save the ones you had from before. They look sturdy and were easy to install. It took about 30 minutes because I had to redrill these brackets further away to use their pins. To install use a drill and screw driver. I Installed it quickly (and i'm a handy gal). Love projects I can do for the home at an affordable price. Dont waste money on plastic when you can get these and be done.

Product comes and works as advertised, but does NOT come with screws nor instructions, but I have screws and read one of the answers to install it with no issues. If you have all the tools (Drill, drill bits, philips head screw bit, small screws, and pencil to line up you brackets and drill holes in the door) it takes 10-15 minutes. I grabbed the wrong drill bit and made the hole too big in the bottom of the blind. I had to get some blue painters tape to to widen the pin to make it snug and worked like a charm. Electrical or masking tape would work as well, you can't see it once installed. Great product, highly recommended.

Easy to install. Sturdy. Fit the purpose.

We replaced cracked and broken plastic clips with these. These metal ones fit right into the original holes and went together in minutes. I was a little perplexed and annoyed, if I'm being honest, with the fact that the retainer pin goes completely through the bracket hole, but once it's all together, it's quite secure and looks nice and clean. I got over it. :)

I used these on an outside door. Most of the time they work perfectly, but every now and then the pin falls out. Luckily, I haven't lost the pin yet.

These replaced broken plastic blinds brackets that were in our house when we moved in. I was able to use them in the same position as the old ones, requiring me to only have to drill 2 extra holes. I also had to remove the old pins from the base of the blinds, drill out the holes a bit, and insert the new pins. Worked great and now our blinds do not swing around when we open and close those doors.

Just as the other 1* reviews. This item comes with no mounting screws. The pin is too large for the blind hole, too small for the portion of the bracket - just falls through the hole. What a waste of time and money. This company (Amazing Drapery Hardware, West Jefferson, Ohio) should be ashamed, scamming so many people.

These are so easy to install! They are super sturdy and the blinds never come off of them like they do the plastic ones even if the door is accidentally slammed. They won’t break as well. Get yourself some ASAP!
