A Practical Guide to Creating And Maintaining Water Quality (Tankmaster Series)

Finally, a down to earth book on water quality for my aquariums. It presents many of the things I have had to gather from multiple sources. From my first glance through this book, I have learned from some of my errors, and have made the corrections ... and hey worked! I recommend this book for a beginner (at most) and as a reference for the more experienced folks. There are a lot more in this series and author that are pretty good as well.

This is a well-written pamphlet providing elementary information on water and aquarium chemistry. If that is what you are looking for, this book should probably be a 5* book. I was looking for more detailed and more in-depth information than this book provides and was a bit disappointed.

Very well written in a way that demystifies the complicated subject of water quality in down-to-earth terms that also explains the effects and applications on the aquarium hobby.

Great book for those who want to attempt to get the water conditions spot on, excellent easy to understand readout and great example pictures, a really good book to add to your aquatic collection, this book has saved me a considerable amount of money and potential disasters!!! I am currently looking for other Peter Hiscock books on aquatic fish

Handy little book to have around if you have an aquarium explains why it's important to keep a check on the condition of your water and what it all means and some good tips to sort out any problems you might come across

This is a Great book which gave me a better understanding of looking after the water environment for my axolotyl. Information, explanations, illustrations and diagrams are presented well and easy to understand. It was also used for studying aquatics at college with good results.

Very informative, well laid out an excellent book for a beginner. I am yet to find the elusive book which answers all my questions
