Brolly Sheets Bed pad with Wings Pink by Brolly Sheets

This was reccomended by a friend as I was 'complaining' about being up many nights a week to change my daughter's sheets when she wet the bed. It is just fantastic. See the full description below, for how it works, but it takes away almost all of the hideousness of having to change a wet bed in the middle of the night.The brolly sheet is a sheet that covers about 1/3 of the bed, so you can adjust it to be where your child is most likely to wet the bed. It has a soft cotton top and a waterproof under layer, so, unlike with a plastic sheet, your child doesn't feel hot and sweaty. To make the bed with this sheet, you make it as normal, then place the brolly sheet in the correct position and then put another 'normal' sheet on top. In the middle of the night all you have to do is pull off the top sheet and the brolly sheet, leaving a clean, dry sheet underneath for your child to jump straight back into bed. No more worry about staining the mattress or the wet from matress seeping back through to the clean sheet etc. It's also a much quicker bed change as the clean sheet is already on the bed.Although I am still up a to change my daughter's bed in the night, I can do it half asleep, and in under 5 minutes. Before I had this, it was a much bigger deal as I raced to get the sheets off as quickly as possible to try and save the matress. Now I don't worry about how quickly or slowly she wakes to tell me she's wet the bed as it just doesn't matter. It washes and tumble dries beautifully with no shrinkage or damage to the waterproofing. A truly brilliant invention and worth every penny.

Really pleased with this product. I had previously bought protective sheets from mothercare, and the were rubbish, they didn't come with the side pannels so you can tuck it in the bed, and they were really small. This sheet is really big, so won't miss any accidents, tucks in, so doesn't move around. Some people have said it moves but it is long enough so you can put it slightly under the pillow so your child dosn't mannage to move it in their sleep....my girl is a wriggler and was upside-down in her bed and it was still in-place and hadn't moved!!It washes really well and I have also tumble-dried it (only couple of times) and come out fine. It also dries really quickly. I also work in care and this product is just as good as the ones they use, for half the price. Well worth the money!

I would recommend this product. It is used on a toddler bed and fits it well. It doesn't slip or crease up and is nice and soft. It is very absorbent and doesn't leak. Since buying it, it has been wet on every night, washed in the morning, hung on the line all day and then finally tumble dried. It has retained its colour and shape so far. It does take quite a while to dry properly though.I like it enough to buy another one although I wish it was a little cheaper in price.The item was delivered to France and arrived before the estimated date of delivery.

I have not been able to use the sheet in bed yet as my daughter has just started the potty training and is still wearing nappies at night time. I am just using it as a couch protector - the texture is natural and the color looks vivid. I was impressed with the capacity of absorption of humidity of the sheet once, when it sat into the washing machine for a few hours before washing - it looked like a sponge! Although it is thicker than a normal sheet it does not take much longer to dry.

It is fab! My daughter instantly felt happy and secure to not wear her bedtime pull-ups and I’m super happy that I am no longer needing to buy disposable pads.
