I do want to buy the old board for nostalgia reasons but this board is still cute. This is ideal for smaller children with shorter attention spans because the game can go pretty quickly at times especially if you get the ice cream card. My 4, 7, and 10 year old play constantly. Gets boring quickly for the bigger kids (7 and 10) and they try to just use it as a play set and pretend they're the gingerbread men visiting the different places on the board. Classic game and I even enjoy playing with them. They have been preferring it to Hi Ho Cherryo HiHo! Cherry-O Game recently though.
