Glad to find these sold separately from earrings. I have several pairs of studs that droop because of their weight, and regular backs don't help. I bought the surgical steel ones in case it matters. I've never had a problem, but the price was right, so I bought the better ones.

I wish I could rate these earring backs with surgical stainless. Unfortunately, I ordered them twice and both times got backs with no steel at all, just 100% plastic. Glad to say, the vendor realized the error and send me the correct ones free of charge. Happy with resolution, good product

Didn't work for us. I was looking forward to receiving these since I used this type of backer years ago. They arrived by mail in a plastic mailing envelope, with little protection, which kind of surprised me. But when I took out the first pair and put them on, they were so loose on the posts that I knew if I took two steps they would fall right off and be lost. Sorry, but I can't in all good conscience, give any higher star review.You usually get what you pay for and these were inexpensive, so if you want to give them a try, by all means go for it. If you wear earrings with thicker posts than mine, perhaps they will work for you. Unfortunately, neither my daughter nor I will be able to use these. We ordered silver ones and gold ones and they all had identical issue.

I did not get all 10 pieces that I was suppose to have gotten..I only got 9 pieces. I would appreciate to have my other one send to me right away ......

This product is a lifesaver for someone like me who has guaged ears. I like to wear nice dangling earrings that i can buy off the rack but in order to wear them i need these large backs to wear. It keeps the earrings from falling out of my tunnels.

Company sent wrong product, but quickly re-sent correct product. These earring backs work as designed for me. They aren't heavy duty, but neither were they advertised as such.

These work the best of all and are the least expensive but get the right size for the post wire, they are different sizes and I have tried ALL the different ones.
