You get what you pay for
Right, so I bought this as a spare pad with its main purpose as being a cheap pad for my 3 year old as I won't give him a £70+ controller to trash. For that role it does a good enough job but for a replacement or cheaper alternative for Joy Cons or the Pro, I cannot recommend this product. The build quality is suprisingly good for its price but the controls themselves are really poor. The deadzone on the analogue sticks is really big and they are not sensitive at all. The right thumbstick seems to work more like an 8-way D pad as it doesn't seem to have full 360° control. The shoulder buttons are stiff and click really loudly. As I've said, for a cheap pad to teach a young one how to game it does its job, but I would not endorse this for a casual player, let alone a hobbyist.

Great Extra or Replacement Controller
Works perfectly and much more affordable than the officially licence controller. It's comfortable to handle and extremely responsive with no lag or delay. It looks very nice too. It's rechargeable and the recharge wire is usb c and is included. The battery life is excellent and quick to recharge. I've been getting around right hours before having to recharge. It's simple to connect to the switch and only takes a few seconds to get it up and running. It has a LED indicator at the top to show connectivity. Overall this is a very easy to use and excellent replacement or extra controller, really happy with it.

Great size and buttons, smaller than Xbox One controller
Best budget controller I have used, purchased as part of an Amazon daily deal. Feels like a Xbox One controller but smaller. Was expecting a more cheaper feeling experience, especially with the triggers but was pleasantly surprised as they feel very firm (although you can see the spring when pressed). Whilst the build is not the same as my Razer Raiju TE, I ended up replacing that controller with this as the smaller shape better fitted my hands. Also great that this is USB-C, works as an Xbox 360 controller when plugged via USB to a PC so very convenient. Used the Nintendo YBXA layout but Xbox colour buttons which seems like a good idea for using on both the Switch and PC where mapping is predominately Xbox

This controller is good for playing switch if you can't or don't want to use your joy-cons and has a turbo button you can use if you want to rapidly press a button. The problems are that even though it says it has motion controls it doesn't and it doesn't have the joy-cons HD Rumble even though it does still vibrate. Also, when it vibrates, the motor makes a loud rattling noise. Apart from that, the controller is good for most games and the turbo button, which is the joy-cons don't have, is useful for mashing buttons quickly.

Average controller, poor stick sensitivity, good secondary or backup.
Been using this Switch controller for around a week now, its rank average - which I expected for the price.Pairing to the Switch is easy, the extra buttons ie. Screenshot or Turbo mode are nice to haves. The buttons are a bit "clicky".The joy stick sensitivity is poor, when you are trying to control precisely you find yourself having to push past what you normally would to achieve the same result as on an official JoyCon controller, this results in inaccurate aim and movements. This is especially noticeable when playing shooting games ie. Fortnite and in puzzle games where precision is key ie. Mario. Expect nothing short of a frustrating experience in that regard. For button bashers, driving or as a secondary controller I would reccomend this model, but not as your primary controller - you'll be left disappointed.

Brilliant Cheaper Alternative
I found this for my partner as he wanted the pro controller for switch but felt the branded one was too pricey. Third party controllers have a bad reputation but after we got a third party PS3 controller which was brilliant we decided to give this a try.Its had no issues whatsoever so for and he has used if for every game he has so far. He mainly wanted this for Bayonetta as he found it difficult to play it with the joy cons alone and it works superbly. He has big hands and he said it doesn't feel too big or small and very comfortable to hold.Overall I would honestly say if you want a good switch controller for a bargain, this is perfect for you.

Very good controller!
Wanted a regular controller for playing my Switch at home to save te Joy-Cons for handheld gaming, but didn't want to pay out for the official pro controller. This is a great third party alternative. Feels pretty much like a slightly smaller Xbox One controller. The sticks are good, responsive and feel pretty sturdy, the buttons all have good feedback to them (including the triggers which don't feel spongy) and the d-pad is effective as well. The force feedback on it is a little noisy, as it can vibrate the case of the controller - if you "grip" the controller though it stops if it gets annoying. It does provide a really solid rumble though!I've not tried the turbo button, but everything else works exactly as hoped and expectedAll in all a very good controller, especially for the money.
