NOT JUST FOR BOOKS ANYMORE
I bought this to use, not on books, but to cover the front of some of my mother's microfiber furniture where her cats scratched and snagged up the fabric. The color's a close match and the tape is very sturdy. It works on books like armour, it's doing the same on the front of her chairs and love seat. As a plus, her cat's aren't interested in trying to scratch this. The adhesive is strong and clean. It cuts to shape and overlasps don't look as bad as I feared. So far, no gooey, gluey edges and it was relatively easy to work with.

Great product!
We needed to repair an antique book and ordered the book binding tape (brown) and it worked perfectly. Easy to use!

Excellent bookbinding tape
I used the tape to repair the cover of a book whose material had deteriorated and was flaking off, staining everything it came in contact with. The color of the tape was a great match, it adhered well to the original material, and was the quality I expected. I am very pleased with the product and will order again from this company if I need more bookbinding tape in the future.

Sturdy, but adhesive could be better
Makes a nice repair and blends in pretty well, but after several months starts to loosen.

Met my expectation beautifully!
This bookbinding repair tape was exactly what I was looking for. Sturdy, attractive, and very effective way to repair a beloved book -- in this case a 1948 edition of The Boston Cooking-School Cook Book by Fannie Merritt Farmer.

Great Book Tape
I have been using this for making art/junk journals. It has great adhesion, nice texture, and looks nice. Will definitely be buying again and in more colors.

Great tape!
The tape was perfect. My kindle cover was cracked and split. I tried the tape which went on easily and has stayed on for over a week so far. It acts like it will last longer than the cover! I will try it on some old books which were repaired decades ago. I have no doubt it will last decades more.

good stuff
Seems good to me, it was easy to use on several of my books. I liked the wider size and the color.

I used it to bind the edge of a rug that I had cut in half and it worked perfectly and looks great.

BEWARE, this is comparable or the same as a strong duct tape that you can pick up at a hardware store for under 10$. For sure, this tapes paper nicely, but we have glue for that, pretty strong glue as a matter of fact. This is needed primarily as a Q&D spine repair tool, when it IS engineered to be bookbinding tape. As such, it has to bind board (no), paper (yes) and cloth (absolutely not). Very dismal performance as bookbinding tape in my trials with it. Plus I damaged some material using it. Not happy. However, I bought it in May and took it out only recently, so I can’t return it. But I can tell others of poor performance of this tape so you dont get caught too.

Won’t stick to anything ! Then you stretch it out and look at the sticky side you can see gaps in where the glue should be.

Used for exactly what it is called. Book Binding. Did not stay on and was puckering and loosening up within 2 months on a cloth covered binder.
