This was perfect for use at my hot yoga class - so much better than the standard towel I have used before. It does not slide around on the mat and gives great grip for hands and feet.There was no carry bag as promised so I have deducted one star just because of this and not because of towel's performance.

I use this on the standard yoga mat at my gym. it is a great idea if you don't like to be touching a yoga mat someone else has been sweating on right before you. good grip between the towel and the yoga mat, however when in particular positions, my feet slide and I don't feel stable on it. i really hope that after i wash it few times the material is going to be less slippery.

Silicon pads grip the mat it is placed on.Unfortunately the surface you stand on lets your bare feet slide easily. Useless for Down Dog and many Pilates exercises. If it needs to be washed to stop being slippery then it should come pre-washed. I won't risk it so it's going back.
