I steered clear of the MARIGOLD color as I didn't want to end up with 'I Love Lucy' orange hair and I didn't want burgundy hair so I steered clear of the CHERRY color.I like the product, but the RED left burgundy highlights in my hair....I wasn't expecting that from the RED color and it did NOT look natural. I bot a bottle of the CHESTNUT and mix 2-3 parts CHESTNUT with 1 part RED, and I really like the result. I use it twice a week, and regular shampoo the other times.The shampoo does NOT appear to cover any of my white/gray hairs....just the hair that is still red.
