Tested over 10 brand coffee last 2 month, this one has moderated oil for espresso machine but pack is good quality , and provide good and nice cream was a fresh product. Recommended

This is some of the best medium espresso that I ever tasted. Oily beans fill the room with coffee aroma that instantly grips you and does not let go. Coffee is strong but not bitter, thanks to the medium roasting. I usually grind only what will be immediately consumed, store in the air tight jar on the kitchen counter no more then week worth of supply and the rest is in the freezer section waiting to serve for a long time. Great bargain for this amount of coffee and works good in lattes too.

Good bang for your buck but the flavor is worse than old stale gas station coffee .

I have been a customer of coffeebeandirect for a year and had no complaints, but I ordered 15 lbs of the 6 bean espresso blend directly from their website, and I ordered 10 lbs of their 3 bean espresso blend, my customers complained so.much I had to take the beans off the meniu, the coffee was acrid, bitter dark taste and undrinkable. I asked a local Roaster his opinion and he inspected the beans and said they were burnt and if he roasted them he would have made compost out of them. I called coffeebeandirect but got no call back. To run a coffee shop you need consistency in flavor, I am not impressed with their customer service and will not be ordering again.I have attached photos, look closely and you can see the holes in the beans where they were burned.

My husband makes lattes for the two of us each and every morning. We have a VERY fancy, expensive espresso machine which we got for free by using points from our credit card. (Points are SO worth it..)The sound of the milk frothing and the beans grinding keeps me sane every time I have to get out of bed way too early. We have run the gamete of bean exploration, and have settled on this medium roast because it is just right for both of us. Not too dark, very smooth, good crema, consistent espresso expressed cup after cup. ..And, the price is very reasonable. Highly recommended.

The price is good. The taste is ok. The freshness is ok. Mine seemed a bit on the old side but CBD is usually decent.

We do love our coffee. Generally, we buy Alterra Cafe Voltaire, but the price is getting pretty high. And, with funds more limited than they used to be, I thought we'd try Coffee Bean Direct. We'd save $20 on the same amount of beans.The first time I ground this blend and put it in the coffee maker, the aroma of the fresh beans did it for me. I knew I had a hit. And, the coffee has been just the way we like it. Not too bitter, not too dark, but still robust and rich. We add a touch of chicory sometimes to the top of the grounds, and ... yummmm.We'll buy this again, and likely try one or two of the other varieties.
