Duraball Pro is in a whole league of its own and cannot be compared to any other.
From the first appearance of exercise balls on the gym scene, I sought all the information from the top gurus concerning pros and cons of utilizing this equipment for fitness and weight loss clients.Master trainer and guru to the pros, Paul Chek is probably the key individual to introduce the stability ball into the fitness arena. His background is physical therapy where the balls were a primary tool for 50 years. Since fitness professionals are always seeking the best tools to give clients the most for their exercise buck, the balls quickly caught on. However, all of them are not created equal!Chek himself endorsed the Duraball Pro which is manufactured in Australia. Yes, they are definitely more expensive than the brand X alternatives. Everyone should know that the Duraball Pro is in a whole league of its own and cannot be compared to any other.I say this because I weight train and balance train clients on the Duraball Pro. This gives me the confidence that I can have a 500 Lb man on the Duraball without concern of it bursting. The ball holds it shape better than any other on the market under the load of 400-500 Lb clients lifting heavy dumbbells on top of it.Balance training is key to my fitness business because a client follows a progression of doing a kneeling balance on top of the ball either all fours or kneeling stance. Recently, a 79-yr-old man perfected this on my YouTube channel! Tremendous balance and fall prevention training for all my senior fitness camp clients. When I train fall ball college baseball athletes we use Duraball for them, too. After advancing through the proper progression, the athletes are able to perform kneeling stances on top of the ball while pitching and bunting to one another!Since I just can't stop once I get started about the superior advantage of Duraball Pro, I better stop now by saying that you really need to take it from a 40+ year fitness professional. Spend the money because, there is no other ball that I would train my clients on!

Great, Sturdy Ball
I am not a small man, I wanted a ball that would take my weight (300 lbs. and falling) and be sturdy enough to be an office chair and my makeshift weight-bench. This ball was ip to the challenge. I started my weight-loss odyssey at around 500 lbs. and the ball handled it like a champ. The only problem I ever had was when I accidently punctured it with a utility knife. I patched it with a tire patch and superglue and it is still working well. I highly recommend this product.

Durable
It’s made of a thick durable material, that I hope won’t get a hole easily like the othe 2 fitness balls did. I didn’t notice a strong smell. It’s made in Australia and not China. The price is higher than most, but one “high priced” ball is less than 3 “low priced” balls.

Duraball Review 041909
The duraball is great from a chair standpoint. I like it. It is fatiguing at first since one has to get used to it, but being able to move around is nice. Only problems I had were the first one sent to me came in a box that was obviously well worn. It was a silver one and supposedly only 65cm and it looked definitely used. Had to send back and the next one I got was no problem. The next problem is the smell. Holy frijoles what a smell. So currently I have it up in my attic airing out to reduce the chemically smell. It's like a new plastic/vinyl shower curtain on smell-steroids. Just that vinyl-ee smell that is quite overpowering. Once we get past that part, I'll bring it back in and use it for my office chair as I intended originally. And if I exercise on it too, well that is just another benefit... ha!

Great Stability Ball
Got the 75 CM Duraball Pro. I wanted a heavy duty ball that I could use as a 'bench' for lifting weights. This is one of the few out there that is rated to do so. Very happy with the weight of the ball. This is for my use at home and not in a gym setting. Gave 4 stars due to the persistent vinyl smell even after a month and the ball is a little slipperier than I would like. Took the ball in the shower to soap it up and try to rinse off some of the oils. Helped somewhat with the odor and the feel of the ball. Would certainly purchase again. Happy with product.

The only long lasting exercise ball
I bought 6 75cm balls to use for sitting before I got this one. They all popped. The duraball is the only quality heavy duty ball out there that’s built to last and built to sit on for years. I’ve had my 65cm for working out for 10 years. I should have spent the money a long time ago for the 75cm.
