Really like this flashlight.Sturdy overall. Good lighting for a crank light.Stays lit for the time it says. Anywhere from 60 min. to 90 min. depending on the setting you use. It has 3 settings.Being waterproof is a plus. Great for keeping in your car.Also real good for kids.Again, waterproof to give the kids while camping. No money spent on batteries and they enjoy the crank handle.I ended up buying 5 as gifts. One for myself.

This is the light I reccomend to all of my prepper friends and law Enforcement officers. I have bought several for myself and family, and if the price of them stays low, I will buy and sell others. I see where they are becoming harder to find at the low price i paid of $15.00 shipped. Like I said, if they go up much more, I will not buy more.I do suggest that the solar panel be recessed down into the top further or a lip be placed around the glass, to prevent scratching or breaking the surface glass.Thank you. If you want a flashlight to use as a weapon, you need one of those metal ones police carry.If you want a super bright one, pick another option.But this dude floats in water.It recharges in the sun...And if you don't have sun, it charges quickly with the hand crank.I have one in each gym bag, in each car, and in almost every room in the house. Plus my garage.We lost power a few years ago. That lasted for a couple of weeks.We just charged our flashlights in the window during the day. The charge was enough to last through the night.I have about a dozen. I bought the oldest one at least 5 years ago. It's still going strong.

I am happy I invested in this product. It is both solar powered and waterproof to 33 feet. Perfect for a young child who might drop it in the tub or toilet! It is well-made. I can recommend this flashlight!

It's so good I bought two. I love how this is solar powered / hand crank. I don't have to deal with batteries. This makes a great practical gift for the person who already has everything.

Solid build. Convenient size. Nice flashlight, but it could be slightly brighter.

From the description, these flashlights seem like a good idea with a solar cell to charge the battery, a crank to charge the battery, and a waterproof case. There's only one problem ... but it's a big one. The light output is terrible. I bought two of these and have had them charging in the sun for days but the light is very weak. I've tested 3 different kinds of solar flashlights and these are the worst. I bought them for my kids but with their poor lighting capability, they are close to worthless. I would definitely NOT recommend them.

Haven't tested the waterproof capabilities yet. Hopefully never will. But we live on the shores of a Caribbean island, so it's pretty wet all the time anyway. Have 2 of these lights now. The solar works well if you sun charge it the day after you use it. And the crank is great if it begins to run a little low. I would recommend this torch.
