Champion Vanquish Electronic Hearing Protection was designed from the ground up for the shooting sports. Each muff was acoustically modeled on gunshot reports to achieve the optimal balance of all-day comfort and noise reduction.

Good product
My husband loved these. I got them for his birthday. He loves hunting and he says they work perfectly. Only issue I had was that I ordered the Bluetooth ones and They sent the basic version instead and had to wait to give him his gift till the new ones came in and then I had to waists my time and go to the ups an hour away from me and drop them off to send them back and I had to pay 1$ to do so then an hour back home. Kinda annoying but none the less he likes the headphones

Very comfortable!
Most comfortable ear pro I’ve tried. Works very well for gun range use. Highly recommend!

Champion Hearing Protection
Just what I needded for going to the indoor range. The noise cancelling feature works good on these. I also like the fact that it is bluetooth as well and can listen to musci as well as take a call if needed.

For the shooting and hunting enthusiast, not a typical noise cancelling headset
I received this headset specifically to write a review. That said, I try to be honest and open in all my reviews.(Please see the enclosed pictures.)This headset was easy to assemble (put the included batteries into the earpieces, two per side), put it on your head, and push the big button on the side.I was easily able to pair my Bluetooth player with the headset. These are an incredible set of headphones for the hunter and shooting enthusiast, more on that below. These are not, not, not an ordinary set of noise canceling headphones. So, this headset is not what I expected, and this is my fault. I thought that it was a super, heavy duty, noise cancelling set of headphones that was so very good that it would even block explosive sounds. (I have a set of hedge-trimmers that are deafening, and given my hearing loss from time in the war, I do my best to use hearing protection.)These are not an ordinary set of noise cancelling headphones. For anything that is not explosive, e.g., a gun shot, when you turn the headset on it actually magnifies the ambient sounds. Imagine my surprise when my hedge clippers became five times as loud. For a hunter, this is excellent. Not only will it protect your hearing from gunshots, it will actually increase your auditory acuity and help you hear things like critters moving through the brush as you move. Also, for the shooting enthusiast, you can listen to your favorite music while you are doing target practice. All in all, these are amazing for the right person under the right circumstance, but do not buy these for noise cancellation for things like plane rides, mowing the lawn, or (especially) loud hedge trimmers.

snug fit but comfortable; good ambient sound quality; Bluetooth works well
I like to do target shooting at an outdoor range, so I’m always interested in trying out new ear muffs for hearing protection. I have problems with ear wax build-up with ear plugs, so over-the-ear muffs are mandatory for me. I have never heard of the Champion brand before, so I thought I would give them a try.Champion markets three different hearing protection muffs under the Vanquish label: Standard, Pro, and Elite. All offer electronic hearing protection so you can hear what’s going on around you and instantly block the sounds of gunshots. The Pro version adds Bluetooth connectivity so you can pair the headphones with any Bluetooth device, like a cellphone, and listen to music and/or answer phone calls using a push button on the ear muffs. The Elite version has the same features as the Pro version but adds built-in rechargeable Lithium ion batteries for power. The Standard and Pro versions require four replaceable AAA batteries. The version sent to me for review was the Champion Vanquish Pro set of ear muffs. The ear muffs come nicely packaged in an easy to open box. You will want to be sure to remove all of the packaging from the box as there are four alkaline AAA batteries inside a leather-like storage bag that is folded up underneath the bottom of the packaging. The only instructions are printed on what looks at firs to be a product brochure card that is pressed against the back wall of the box and easy to overlook. I always like to download a pdf version of product instructions for future reference whenever I purchase a new product, but you will not be able to do so with this product as Champion does not provide it on their web site. You will want to save the card as not everything is intuitive.First off, to install the batteries you have to pinch out the thin foam section in the middle of each ear cup to access the battery compartment. You have to install two AAA batteries in each ear cup separately, which is a tight fit. You then have to press the foam insert back into place. All of the controls for the headphones are on the left ear cup. Their positioning is a little odd, and it is easy to push the wrong button while wearing the headphones. Power is turned on by pressing the elongated power button. An audible tone sounds while wearing the headphones to tell you they are on, and you will hear ambient sounds around you which can be amplified or reduced with the volume buttons which are located at each end of the elongated power button. The Bluetooth button is in the middle, slightly above the power button. Bluetooth can be turned on or off by pressing and holding the Bluetooth button for a couple of seconds. Once they’re paired with your cellphone, a brief press of the Bluetooth button will enable you to answer phone calls. The headphones fit pretty snugly. I do not have a large head, but I had to adjust the headphone band to its maximum length to fit my head properly. But if they fit your head, they are comfortable to wear. The wings of the headphones are such that they interfere with shooting a rifle. So, these are best suited for handgun shooting. The audio quality for listening to music is not great but certainly acceptable. I would never distract myself by listening to music while shooting, so for me it really doesn’t matter. The headphones do amplify ambient sound very well, though, and I can easily hear what’s going on around me.The noise protection rating for these headphones is 24 db. That’s typical for most electronic ear muffs that I’ve ever seen and acceptable for outdoor shooting, but you will probably want better hearing protection for shooting in an indoor range, especially larger caliber firearms.Pros:Comfortable to wearGood noise reduction for outdoor shootingVery good amplification of ambient sound while blocking gunshotsBluetooth pairs easily and works wellNice storage bag includedCons:Snug fit; may not fit those with a large head sizeDesign interferes with shooting riflesBattery access is awkwardButton placement makes it easy to press the wrong buttonOverall, I like these Champion Vanquish Pro electronic ear muffs. They work well for my purposes shooting predominantly handguns at an outdoor range. They are reasonably priced for the features they offer. If possible, though, you will probably want to try them on somewhere to make sure they fit before purchase. Also, if you don't have a need for Bluetooth function, you can purchase the Champion Vanquish Standard version of ear muffs for about half the price on Amazon.I try to write informative product reviews. If you have found my review to be useful in assessing this product, please let me know by clicking on the “Helpful” link.

Work quite well for the outdoor shooting range.
I ordered the 'Champion Vanquish Pro Bluetooth Electronic Hearing Protection Muffs' originally to be used for my Mother-in-Law who has seizures caused by loud noises however for this purpose they did not work as well as I had hoped. With that said, for the intended purpose at the outdoor shooting range, they performed very well at allowing me to hear my surroundings yet protect my ears from the sudden loud sounds from the range. Normally I have used foam ear plugs for the range and had never tried this type of muff, but i am totally sold. This really is the way to go as now I can still have a conversation while wearing my ear protection. Overall I am very happy with how they perform, how easy they are to use and how comfortable they are to wear.

No Headaches with eye pro!
I shoot alot of matches with centerfire rifles and breaks that will ring your head. I like wearing eye pro and when I would wear most muffs they would give me headaches from pushing into the sides. I got a set of the Pro Vanquish and they are very soft and comfy and works great with most any glass's I've worn. Also the get really loud so if you're the kind of shooter who likes to wear foamies on the inside they still work great. My other pairs used to push in on my ear as well which felt bad when you used em a while. These seem to be perfect there too. I have really liked them and love the fact they fold up real nice and compact since my MSA Sordin pros don't. Yes, I HIGHLY recommend this product!
